Great sales, poor support. Since the installation of my home fibre, I've had constant connection drops and every time I call or email I was informed the issue will be resolved. A year later and still the issue is ongoing.
Standard Bank Oudtshoorn is a joke! Opens only at 9 am, and when you get in there is no one on their posts to assist, 10 minutes past 9 more employees stroll in as if they only start at 10 or something. This bank needs proper management! If I could give a minus-star rating I would! Been banking with Standard Bank for 18 years, and since the move to the new building, they are just going backwards. Think it's time to move banks.
Extremely bad communication!!! Had to service my car in August, couldn't due to Codiv-19 circumstances. Had no communication from then to inform me that if I do not take the car for the service within 60 day they will not pay of the service. A full years payment down the drain...
<p>On 12 November 2016 I went to MTN N1 City to cancel my contract that would expire end of December 2016. All good and well contract canceled and they informed me the last debit will be 1st December 2016. In January 2017... guess what... debit goes off again!!! Went back to MTN N1 City and they "sorted it out" and would refund me. Today (2 Febuary 2017) depit whent off again!! *** MTN??? So I got a second contract with Cell C to get a new phone as my old one did not work for me. The sales guy that helped me got me convinced that after 3 months I should go back to him and then we can cancel the new number to save some costs as I will not use the new number, only the handset.<br> Now they tell me that's not possible, wtf Cell C?? If I knew that, I would've never got the new phone.
As a customer of Standard Bank for ten years +, I find it really annoying and ridicules that you have to go into the branch to make profile changes... but they can change payment details and stop and reverse debit orders over the phone...<br> <br> Got a new phone number, have to go in to change it... but they don't activated the one-time-pin on the number, now I cannot do internet banking!!! Have to go back in the activate it!! This is really F***ed up!!!<br> <br> I'm changing banks soon!!!!
