Only gave 1 star to write the review. Please this is an urgent call to all residents of George, do not use or engage with this Company even if its an isnurance claim. We had an underground water leak that they spent a day trying to find, they basically dug up paving and random spots. They did not resolve the issue and the next day the owner calls my wife with all sorts of accusations that we did not let his people into the house to investigate, very rude and arrogant owner. He insists that we are lying and that he cannot work with us and droppped the job. We had lodged a compliant with our Insurer and will pursue the matter until his company is removed from the approved Insurance list. There is no excuse for this kind of behaviour from a service provider and acusing the client of their incompetence and not willing to finish the job they started is totally unacceotable.
Bought 3 items online and when they arrived the quality was poor. Tried to return them but DW says they dont allow returns on discounted items. Their returns policy does not mention this and actually allows for 30day returns even on discounted items. Have contacted them numerous times but they just say items cannot be returned. Please be careful when purchasing from Daniel Wellington especially online, I know it will be my LAST! I am trying report them to relevant consumer board. Purchase was not cheap even with discount but products were poor quality.
We place an order online on the 15th June for a PS4 to the value of R8k for our son's birthday. Game processed the transaction and took the money of our credit card. We did not hear anything and on the day 7 we called only to find out they had no stock. They did not refund the money nor deliver the goods and said they had up to 10days for delivery. Day 10 has come and gone. It is now day 15 and despite numerous calls to their online support no one at Game can give us a straight answer, they claim the order is on it's way but cannot confirm any delivery information. They say it could take another 7days to deliver and we cant cancel order. The refund if we cancel would take another 10days to process. The only excuse is COVID pandemic! There no words and I had to select a star to post this but they get zero stars and we will never again deal with Game Stores
This is a classic. I had a Blue Bean credit and garage card issued by default about 14 years ago. I refused to take the cards when delivered and never transacted on any of them, never receipted or took the physical cards ever. After about 8 years I started receiving sms's and statements on my phone claiming account overdue. In the mean time a debit order had been going off an auxillary account which I seldom check for the past 8 years. I notified them, called every call centre and spoke to numerous people who could not close the account cause they claim there was a balance outstanding. They cannot tell me where the balance comes from. After numerous attempts to close the account, I gave up and closed the bank account where the debit order was going off. Its been 14 years now and they continuously call me, my ex, my home looking for payment. I just ignore all calls as my last recorded call centre discussion even involved their most senior supervisors who cannot explain how an acoount remains open accumulating interest upon interest, service fee upon service fee without the renewal/permission/authorisation or acceptance from the so called "account holder" for 14 years. And no action is being taken by the bank for non-payment, go figure... Dont think Blue Bean even exists anymore.
I've been a loyal customer of Autopage for over 15 years. My contract bundle account never went over R700-750 per month. I go in to upgrade after receiving sms and to my surprise was told there is an R8000 additional charges for data. I had not received any warning or notification that my normal usage is being exceeded. I tried everything but I was too late the debt order went off and I lost R8000,00 just like that. I lodged numerous complaints and account queries where registered (I have the call reference numbers) and nothing happened. The store could not help (change from contract to top-up), the many calls have done nothing and the bill just keeps coming in excess of what I normally pay. I have now switched off all my mobile data usage items on cell and computers and am curious to see what happens. In the mean time I have to wait till my contract runs out before I move to another service provider. It is just unacceptable that there is no warning service when normal data is exceeded. I still get the Upgrade sms though!
I had a Bluebean credit and a garage card in and around 2007-2009 when the card expired I refused to take another one and tried to settle and close the accounts on numerous occasions. Then out of the blues I started receiving sms about debts going of on my bank for the cards. There is apparently a balance of R2407.81 on one and R31.00 on the other, on closer look at my account (which I don't use very often) I discover that these debt orders have been going off for the last 5-6 years. I tried everything to get this resolved by calling the customer services and insisting to speak with a manager. The manager promised to look into the matter and I never heard from them again yet the sms still comes and the debt keeps going off my account. Can't stop the debt order at my bank and Standard bank keeps stealing money from me month after month. On average the repayment is around R72/month for 5-6 years on a balance of R2500 (not my balance) somebody do the sums. Bluebean Standard Bank don't have my latest details for over 6 years, except for my cell number, I don't get any statements or emails requested. All I want is for someone to look at these accounts, close them and reimburse me.
