Booked on 07/02/2026 on the SafariNow website. Websire showed a room that meets my requirements for a discounted amount. I selected book now. And the payment went through. Their website glitched and booked the incorrect accomodation. I arrived at the accomodation only to fins out the incorrect accomodation was booked and that if I wanted the correct accomodation I will pay in R 1026.54 now Safari now is saying their website is fool proof and there is no way that this could of happened. The place that I am staying at has informed me that 2 weeks ago they requested safari now to correct the errors on the website which it hasnt. As suxh I am now out of pocket R 1026.54 which is an expense that was avoidable had safari now jusy done what was instructed. No call centre to speak to a physical human. Instead have to email and get a response within 24 to 48 hours. Unnaceptable. Do not use safari Now. Bordering on ***** and just shrug their shoulders.
This is round 2 with me ordering parcels from 2 different regions (Cape Town being the one and Durban being the other previously it was JHB the one and Durban the other) in both these instances the parcel from JHB or CPT has arrived before the parcel from Durban. I am literally situated 2 hours away from Durban in Richards Bay. I can literally walk faster to Durban and collext the item by the time it takes courier guy to deliver it. The parcel is sitting in the Depot in Richards Bay with 5 hours dfor them to make a plan and have the parcel delivered. Alternatively adopt the strategy of Takealot and close later like 7 PM and have people that you ***** over with poor service at least be able to collect the parcel themselves. And you cannot tell me that on both instances that the parcels did not end up at the durban depot because I know it did. So both parcels were at the same depot bwfore the one was dispatched before the other one to Richards Bay. I am excited to hear the lame excuses their headoffice comes up with to dismiss this away.
Booked my Parcel to be collected on 27/09/2024 with Pudo a subsidiary of courier guy. When I phoned them at approximately 12 p.m. on 27/09/2024 I was promised it would be collected on 27/09/2024. on 28/09/2024 when I phoned I was told that it will be collected on 30/09. which is unacceptable as the website allocated me to preselect a collection date which means that the parcel is to be collected as per the selected date. The 30th came and half of it went. if I did not phone them again and throw my toys out of the cot that parcel would not have been collected at all. (Thank you Crystal for being understanding and driving it from your side) The Durban branch phoned the Empangeni branch on Saturday on my behalf. they transferred me once on Friday, once on Saturday Saturday and 3 times on Monday 30/09 on all those calls, the Empangeni branch answered, put my call on hold and disconnected. I informed the agent who collected I expect a phone call from the Empangeni branch manager on Monday 30/09/2024 for which we are sitting on 04/10/2024 and I am still waiting. on top of that it took them a further 4 days to deliver the parcel after wasting 3 days already. I am extremely unhappy with the service and expect a formal apology written on a company letter head and overnight shipping when that parcel needs to be returned to me after it has been repaired,
I took out a policy from Old Mutual in March. And shortly after that my financial aituation changed as I was set to relocate 2 months after taking the policy with no cer*****y as to income. As such on 17 April I submitted the paperwork to have the popicy closed. On 22 April. I received my first communication from the company informing me they needed documents. Which was submitted an hour after that communication. I was informed 2 days later when I received no further word that nothinf was actioned evwn though the documents were showing on the emails. I went into the branch the next day and they resubmitted the documents stating it will take a further 15 days to pay out. It in fact was much longer as we are currently on day 50 and I am still waiting with no end in sight.
Extremely pathetic service received from the company. They *****ed up a payment and since October to January could not get hold of them at all. Now they took a full payment just to pay R 25.00 rand when the whole account had to have been settled the end of January 2024. Refusing to do the reversal. 0/10 do not reccomend this company
It has been 55 days since raising my problem to MTN with no resolution what so ever. It is quite troubling to know that they expect payment for no service at all.
On 06/08/2020 I subitted my details for a Preorder for the new Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. I was informed that my Preorder was confirmed on 07/08/2020. The reference number is 9600804. In the confirmation email it stated that I will be contacted by the 19th to complete my pre order. This did not happen. I had to phone mtn on the 25th at which time I was assisted by Gamotso at MTN Direct in Johannesburg who informed me not once but two to three times that when I receive the phone the R 4000.00 evoucher will be preloaded onto the device. I was quite excited as the Samsung bluetag sale was set to start in september which meant that I could get great accessories at a reduced price. The voucher was never preloaded, and since then I have been fighting for 23 days for MTN to pull their finger out of their ****ses and to rectify their mistake. Since then the bluetag sale has ended. And now mtn wants to come and say we will now award you your e voucher. Its too late now. You are in breach of contract as I was promised that voucher will be preloaded which is wasnt and the contract is now null and void. This is not the 1st instance where I have had a problem with mtn but it will be the last.
I applied for a new laptop deal at the autopage richards bay branch. They told me it would take 3 to 5 days to arrive we are on day 10 now and still no laptop. This is very concerning because the richards bay branch then informed me there is a stock problem at head office which they were not informed of. I contacted head office and they informed me there is stock available for the laptops because 3 of their employees have in this past two weeks prosessed 4 deals on the laptop i applied for. And when i went to get a update at autopage the one lady there was very rude and arrogant with me and other clients which is unacceptable.
