Sanlam funeral policy
One would think that a funeral policy would pay out quickly, to cover the costs of a funeral. Not so with Sanlam. My father passed away in 2023. I immediately app**** for the payout. It took them 2 years and 2 months to pay out. I asked them about this. They did not even bother to respond.

SMSguys steals your money.
I opened an account with SMSguys years ago. Suddenly all my credits disappeared. Then I tried emailing them to query this. NO attempt WHATSOEVER to help me. I suspect they have a 12-year-old at the help-desk, who's feelings get hurt if you ask a question. Really ridiculous childish responses! To get a statement, they want me to pay R26000! According to their "systems", I've used up my credits, but to see what the "systems" say, you need to pay R26000. If you want someone to steal your money, open an account with SMSguys. If not, get someone else!

MTN blacklists innocent people
In June of 2017, my wife's identity was stolen, and a fraudulent contract was opened at MTN. MTN promptly employed debt collectors, who blacklisted my wife. We provided MTN with all the necessary documents, including an affidavit, ID document and signature examples. However, today (more than a year later) we found out that she is still blacklisted!

Poor quality of goods and customer service
In March I bought 10 infrared globes from LandmarkOnline. They seem to be part of Agrinet. The globes only lasted 1 month. I contacted them
