Still waiting for my order from 29th of Jan???? What's going on over there??? I paid the R85 for Pargo but zero notification on when the delivery is scheduled to arrive. Disgusting work ethic!! Where are the courier notifications and the parcel tracking number? Why are you so unprofessional? This is neither my first nor second order, you have my address and contact information. You have zero excuses!!! I’ve emailed you a few times and eventually got a response from Marawaya (Dispatch Manager or so they say), who asked for my address—despite it being the same one I entered when I placed the order. Marawaya also cc’d someone from DPD Laser, but that hasn’t led to any progress. I shop online all the time, and this is by far the worst service I’ve experienced. It honestly feels like the company is shutting down and doesn’t care about its customers anymore. I need a real update on where my order is and when I can expect delivery OR REFUND MY MONEY! Bunch of *******!
Do not sign up with Webafrica. I have been with Webafrica for 3 years. I had a new service "activated" on the 2nd of January 2023 but I wasn't able to connect to it as expected. That's when this whole saga started. The issue was intermittent issue with my wifi since, the signal just would drop randomly. It would take about 30mins of constant trying to connect before it works. Then about a few hours in, it just drops!!! I spent SO MANY (working) hours, I'd say a good 3 days worth, troubleshooting with about 8 different agents. Each one "not having a record" of what the other did! So I had to start over EVERY single time! Oh my word these people! I was taking calls randomly as they do not call you back at the agreed time. Vumatel was able to confirm the issue is on Webafrica's side on the 5th of January. They suggested the router I had was not adequate for the 200Mbps line I have. Then the day after that another agent, Thato called me and did a firmware update on the router remotely which seemed to work but only for about a few hours. And then I couldn't connect again. He had promised to follow up with me between 12h00-13h00 the next day which he did not. I have since not been able to use my fibre service with Webafrica. It's the 17th and I'm using an LTE service now. And after ALL that, they are ducking and diving and not letting me cancel either!!!!???? That bot service they pride themselves on will be your ruin! DO NOT SIGN UP with Webafrica or you'll regret it.
