Following my complaint on hello Peter on the 11th November Telkom managed to resolve the internet connection on the 18th November 2015. The following transpired that led to subsequent suspension on the 25/01/2016. 1. The technician Chris advised on the 18th that they had to reduce the line from a 10m to a 4 m for some technical reason which they did. 2. He advised that we had to get in contact with billing to have the package amended to correct the appropriate rate to that of a 4m which we did. This was recorded by Zandile, who indicated telephonically that there was a credit of R 1000. Today I am advised that they passed a credit of R 691 and the change in line from 10 - 4m is a separate dispute.??? Come on Telkom - it was lodged in writing as part of the compliant and in two subsequent written communications to you...WE ARE A SMALL BUSINESS. You need to reimburse me for 45 days of no service, loss of income AND for reducing the LINE FROM A 10M to a 4MG line. ( Please do not pretend that there were two disputes.!!!!!! The problem was corrected by reducing the line. THIS SERVICE MUST BE ACTIVATED IMMEDIATELY. Fix my Bill and we will pay...Disgusting Service
Besides being a small business and paying a small fortune timeously for a 10m line, I have not had the service for the last three weeks.<br> We have accessed most no listed to communicate the issue with Telkom, and for some reason you either hold for 30 minutes (calling from the cell phone is costing a small fortune) since the landline is down too more often than not.<br> <br> They have been out 2 consequetive days 9th & 10th/11/2015)without being able to restore the service. They admit that the fault is on their side....What am I to do?????? God lord, I am losing business for not even the landline is functional all the time!!!<br> <br> From our end the account is paid religiously. Telkom seems to think that they can do as they please and bully/manipulate the small business owner at will. I have another bill that will be due now...If we dont pay, they have no qualms to record your late or non payment .....yet no service......What about my cost for an extra dongle that i had to buy....5 others unable to work....<br> <br> Who is being bullied here...Surely Telkom is in breach of contract, that is exactly what they would say should a subscriber not pay. Telkom- Pay attention - Your services are pathetic!!!
