On Tuesday 23 January I went DHA at Canal Walk to have my biometrics registered. From the time I parked my car until I returned to it took exactly 15 minutes. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly,
I recently posted a negative review about this company. SANTAM were quick to respond and the matter was satisfactorily resolved. The problem arose at consultant level. The consultants are knowledgeable and friendly but need more training in customer relations. If you make a promise to a customer then make sure that you stick to that promise. When the issue was elevated to supervisory level the response was exceptional, That said it should not have been necessary to elevate the query.
SANTAM's customer service stinks. Consultants promise to call back and this never happens.
Vox WiFi is pathetic. The signal srength varies from poor through average to good. Never excellent but mostly poor. At times (often ) it disappears completely. When I try to reconnect my WiFi is not available but my neighbour's is. I see numerous Vox representatives out attempting to recruit new customers. I do not understand how they can add new clients when they cannot adequately service the existing customers.. When my contract expires I will be looking for a more reliable WiFi source.
Westcoast Tyres advertised Black Friday specials on their website. When I contacted them I was told that these specials applied to 2021 not 2022. Further perusal of the advert established that the duration of the specials was printed in tiny writing at the bottom of the ad. If a company cannot keep their website up to date, how reliable can they be regarding the latest technology? Especially in a highly technical business.
I went to Hi Q Montague Gardens on Friday 25th November. I arrived at 08h00 but due to loadshedding I had to wait until 08h20 before they could start. Half an hour, 2 new balanced tyres and a wheel alignment later I was out of there with change in my pocket. Abu and his team are pure professionals with a pleasant attitude. They made me feel as if I was doing them a favour by choosing their branch. Keep up the good work guys.
I have been an OUTsurance client for the last 20 years. During that period I have claimed for vehicle incidents on 4 occasions. The first 3 claims proceeded smoothly. The latest claim has turned into a nightmare. I took my vehicle to the appointed panel beater on 1 August. I was told that the repair would take 5 days. 2 weeks later am still without a vehicle. During this time I have not had any progress reports from either the panel beater or OUTsurance. I have repeatedly contacted OUTsurance for progress reports but they have not responded. When I eventually get my vehicle back I must seriously consider changing my insurer.
On 1 August I booked my car in for minor repairs. I was told that the vehicle would be ready within 5 days. i.e. by Friday 5 August. I still do not have my vehicle 10 days later. During this time I have had no progress reports from the company. Their service (if you could call it that) sucks.
On 4th Feb I arranged with Old Mutual to present the debit order for my policy on the 3rd of each month starting 3rd March. For some still unexplained reason they presented the debit order on 28th Feb. As a result of this the debit order was unpaid and I incurred unnecessary bank charges. After weeks of obfuscation I was able to prove to Old Mutual that they were liable for the charges. On 25th March I received notification that the refund had been processed and that the money would be in my account within 3 to 4 working days. I am still waiting. They are quick to take your money - in this case before it was due - but when it comes to paying out the customer can whistle Dixie. On 31st March Old Mutual again presented the debit order so we start all over again.
I wish to compliment Luther Kenke for the outstanding service which he delivered. He responded within 5 minutes to my request for a quote. He was the ultimate professional in his approach and knowledge. I received the quote before we had concluded our conversation. Luther is a perfect flag bearer for SANTAM.
