Very Disappointing Service – Not What You’d Expect from a 5-Star Hotel I’ve had an extremely frustrating experience. They don’t respond to messages—everything is automated, and even reaching out via Facebook led to no reply. For a hotel that claims to be 5-star, this level of customer service is simply unacceptable. It honestly feels like if you’re not seen as someone of a certain status or financial class, they don’t bother with you. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.
We booked and paid for accommodation, 9 days later they contacted us to say that the price they charged was incorrect and we had to pay an extra R1500 in. They refused to accommodate us and did not even offer a discount. It's extremely frustrating as we planned our entire trip around the area we booked the accommodation in. The hosts were very unfriendly and not helpful at all. Very disappointed.
So appalled at the service from capitec. Money was accidentally put into our capitec card that is closed, we need the money transferred back to our main account. Phoned client care, Client care do not help, were advised to visit the branch. At the branch We were then told 4 to 5 business working days. Needless to say we are back at the bank and no luck. We tried phoning the complaints department however they keep just dropping the call or we have to wait over 30 minutes on the call before it gets dropped. The call centre also drops the calls of the actual capitec agent. Extremely frustrating! Why do we have to wait 5 working days for our money back. We have been at the bank for Iverson 2 hours trying to sort this out.
I have been trying to get hold of these people, I chat on whatsapp and they advised me to go through the website. I then went through the website and still no luck, no one gets back to us and I can't understand why they won't help over whatsapp or even give my details to the relevant person. The person responding to the whatsapp is rude and not helpful at all. I have still not been able to get hold of anyone to help me book the venue.
In Nov 2015 I bought 2 pairs of wedge shoes from zando, each costing R359.00. within the first week the one pairs rubber sole started to come off which I repaired. By the end of December 2015 on both pairs of shoes, the actual wedge had detached of the top part of the shoes. I then sent them back to zando on 11 January, stating that I do not want a refund or new shoes, all I wanted to do was for them to re-glue or fix both pairs as I feel it is their responsibility to fix these defective pairs of shoes. it is now end of February and they finally came back to me telling me that they will not fix the shoes. I am extremely unsatisfied with this come back as they are expensive shoes and should last longer than 2 months. I also think it is absolutely ridiculous that they couldn't even spare a smidgen of glue to fix them. now I have to pay an extra R100 per pair to have them fixed at a shoe repair shop. In my opinion zando should not sell shoes that cost so much to only have them break in less than two month. Also the fact that they refuse to glue the shoes being that it is their defective product is also terrible customer service.
Today is the 5th time in the last month that i have been told by steers alberton wh that they dont have bread. I dont eat burgers so i always order the toasted bacon egg and cheese. I dont live close to steers, so my brother goes for us and its annoying everytime he goes he calls to say they dont have bread. I mean toasted sandwiches is on the menu. Surely steers should ensure they have bread. This is bad management, the manager should keep an eye on stock levels through out the day to ensure they dont run out.
