I wish there was a zero rating or even a negative rating. A rating of 1 is to generous for this useless company. BY FAR!!!! The absolute worst upgrade experience of my entire life. The consultant that "assisted me" (Xolile) didn't care about customer experience at all. I've been trying for more than a month now to get an upgrade processed. Left her 8 messages to return my call, out of those 8, she called me back once, but only after I had completely lost it over the phone with someone else. 2 weeks passes and she does not check on the upgrade and turns out that she still needs my ID. I then sent it. All the other consultants I spoke to told me the upgrade is approved. I have tried to escalate to a manager 3 times but they are never available and never call me back. This morning I called 8 times and got cut off 6 times. The ONE time Xolile called me back she said that there is no stock of the black iPhone but they do have blue (29th March), I told her it's fine, go ahead. A week later (today) I follow up and another consultant told me that the upgrade has not been finalised. I'm trying to cancel, but can't even do that. I do NOT want to deal with this company ever again.
For any of you that need to get a laptop or phone repaired, do NOT use @thescreenteamsa / website (http://www.thescreenteam.co.za/)!!!! Paid them a deposit of R3 150, on the 1st of Sep with the promise that the stock will be delivered in 8-14 days. Which means it should have been delivered by the 15th Sep. By the 8th Oct, we asked to cancel the order so we can get another service provider to assist. They asked us to give them more time, which we did, but nothing happened, eventually asked again to cancel everything on the 18th Oct, they asked for our banking details which we provided to them on the 21st Oct. After a LOT of follow ups (no follow up or contact from their side at all), they eventually promised to have the money back by month end. It is now the 5th Nov, still have not received our money back. When we call to ask about the refund, they blame the supplier for not having refunded them, essentially turning their cash flow problem into my cash flow problem. They took money from me and I expect them to pay the money back to me regardless of their internal struggle with suppliers. You can't just blame the suppliers and leave your customers hanging. They say they don't have the money to pay me bac**** 54 days after the deposit and have no view of my refund Laying a charge of theft today!! They're are a legit company but customer service is non-existent and refunds are impossible.
After applying for a mobile contract telephonically, it took about a week to receive any feedback with regards to the status of the handset delivery. I received SMS's confirming the application but with no reference number or order number. After the promised 7-10 working day delivery, still no status updates or delivery. Then proceeded to call the contact centre almost on a daily basis, only to find out that they cannot verify my address. It took them 6 days to verify my address, and then heard nothing from them again. Called the contact centre again (same number as before) and the agent told that it is the wrong number and gave me a number that did not work. Called back the same number and was able to get hold of someone that said they could help. The address was still not verified, and no-one had called me to tell me. If I had not followed up, who knows how long this would have taken. The Telkom system cannot pick up the most basic of addresses in the middle of Joburg. The same address can be picked up with, Waze, Apple Maps, Google Maps etc. Somehow the Telkom system can't. Still waiting for the delivery, and not receiving any feedback telephonically or via SMS. Pitiful customer service.
The gentleman that drove us home was very professional and drove safely. Pick up was on time as per our booking.
