Shocking service…no management Please be warned about this company!!! The approach you to do,upgrade on your mtn contract but then after tons of calls, emails , whatsapps and even driving to them nothing happens!! Almost 6 weeks now and everyone there is now just ignoring us! And management in hiding….landlines not answered at all and junior staff members refuse to give details of any manangement….forced to cancel 20 year old contract….this is the worst! Shocking!

The absolute worst upgrade experience of my entire life. IF U DOING A UPGRADE DONT USE CELLNETWORK RATHER GO TO THE STORE.I did a upgrade with them on April and they delivered a wrong spec smart watch, I returned it and they promise to send me the one i ordered its been 3 months now and they ignoring my calls, text even emails.

I wish there was a zero rating or even a negative rating. A rating of 1 is to generous for this useless company. BY FAR!!!! The absolute worst upgrade experience of my entire life. The consultant that "assisted me" (Xolile) didn't care about customer experience at all. I've been trying for more than a month now to get an upgrade processed. Left her 8 messages to return my call, out of those 8, she called me back once, but only after I had completely lost it over the phone with someone else. 2 weeks passes and she does not check on the upgrade and turns out that she still needs my ID. I then sent it. All the other consultants I spoke to told me the upgrade is approved. I have tried to escalate to a manager 3 times but they are never available and never call me back. This morning I called 8 times and got cut off 6 times. The ONE time Xolile called me back she said that there is no stock of the black iPhone but they do have blue (29th March), I told her it's fine, go ahead. A week later (today) I follow up and another consultant told me that the upgrade has not been finalised. I'm trying to cancel, but can't even do that. I do NOT want to deal with this company ever again.

We did an upgrade on our MTN account ********** at CNW Carnival Mall, to the Huawei P10 Lite + Huawei Router with 250mb FREE data x 24, however for the months of Oct, Nov & dec we were billed for the 250mb FREE data. This causing the account to be suspended due to the credit risk and an outstanding amount due. We have logged numerous requests, with numerous consultants including, Sipho (Carnival mall), Gavin (Carninval Mall) and Michelle (Springs Mall), everytime they just unsuspend the account and log a ticket, no follow ups get done on this as this morning for the 4th time this month the account was suspended again due to an outstanding amount of R203.52. I last spoke to Michelle at Springs mall in March 2019 and was told that the problem was resolved and that the R203.52 would be refunded to the account thus eliminating the reason for the account being suspended. We are having no joy whatsoever from the service received, we need to keep licking ass for this to be resolved. It has been 6 months and no end to our problems. Could anyone at MTN please assist.

I upgraded my mobile contract in Klerksdorp La Piazza SQ at the local MTN store. 3April 2018 Tuesday morning when i went to the store i asked the sales lady for a sample or dummy phone of the Cat S60 mobile phone. She informed me that they dont have any and i can only see the phone after the upgrade was done! I took the phone and when i tested the phone i realised that the Cat S60 is a 2 year old model with no Android support as the phone will not go past Android 6.1. The phone is too big for me and I dont like the phone and the next day when i asked for an exchange the lady informed me that MTN will not take it back. What happend to the 7 day return policy and cool-off period? Cell-C and Vodacom will do the return and swop as long it is in the 7 day period. MTN refuse to help me. I am sick and tired of there very bad customer support and service. Please help and advise!

I have been trying to cancel my contract with CellNetwork/MTN since 8 Jan 2018 and have had no luck at all getting this request processed. My emails are now just being ignored and I am not getting any feedback from them regarding my cancellation.

<p>I reside in Kameeldrift West Pretoria. Nearly on a daily basis it is extremely difficult to have proper cellphone receiption in the area. All new cell phones requires good receiption to enable them to operate effectively.</p> <p>I need my phone for work, therefore reception is essential Our phone contract is with Cell C</p>
