Best price, fast service, absolutely no issues. Bought a Yamaha YEV 105 violin from them. 3 days after ordered, It was delivered. Price was 20% cheaper than the second best. I will use them again.
I have a Sanlam insurance policy that was cessioned to Nedbank Home Loans. My home loan is paid off and the Sanlam policy has came to completion (Already a year ago). So, Sanlam cannot deal with the policy as Nedbank has the cession. The easiest thing in the world is to ask Nedbank to write a letter to Sanlam, asking them to cancel the cession. OOOO and by the way, when you write the letter, PLEASE sign it. (is that not normal?) How difficult can that be? OK, call 0860 555 111 and talk to the help desk of Nedbank. No, send a message with the info to HLretentionsLS@nedbank.co.za. (nice request from Nedbank). (Reference number 67029475) Done many weeks ago, so wait wait wait... 6 weeks later, call 0860555111 again. Where is my letter? "O sorry, forgot to send it" So I received the letter and forward it to Sanlam. (Reference number 67077504) 3 days later, Sanlam flagged the problem that there is no signature on the letter Nedbank supp****. Call 0860555111 again. "Please can you put a signature on the letter?" They (Nedbank) cannot do it now as it is almost time to go home. They (Nedbank) have my phone number (I approved their request on my phone number so NEDBANK has the correct number) and they will call me back. That was Sibusiso from Home loans dept. The reference he gave me was 67029475. Two days later, I called again. Sibusiso didnt call me back. Someone else will help me: I think it is Trevor Quala. He needs to talk to NEDBANK supervisor about request and will call me back within 30 minutes. It is now 3 hours later. No phone call yet from NEDBANK. Every time I make a call to 0860 555 111, it takes 30-60 minutes from my life and I am not moving forward. I have spent quite a few hours with 0860 555 111. How to get service?
I am a Sanlam customer for a long time and have a few policies with them. We (my wife and I) am now at retirement age and some of the Sanlam investments are now ready for payout. For instance, one investment from Sanlam (in my wife's name) was ready in April 2022. However, I got first communication from Sanlam in September 2022 (and that was in snail mail). They have our current e-mail addresses. I requested that the investment be paid out into the bank account that was paying the monthly investment. Their reply: "The communication was not sent from the correct e-mail address." And then no other communication from them. How do I deal with this? I looked for the closest Sanlam office (it was in downtown Vereeniging) and we went there. It looked like a typical government office with many chairs and many many people waiting to be helped. So that is not going to work for me. Then went to their website and contacted them. In my message I said that I am working at an area where cellphones are not allowed and I am not going to answer an unknown number. I however need correspondence via E-mail. I also requested that someone from Sanlam contact me to make an appointment for an in person meeting. 20 years ago I had a broker but he disappeared. So 10 minutes after I submitted the request, Sanlam called me on my cellphone. (I requested not to be contacted). I answered and the lady (was she from Sanlam?) requested for my ID number. I provided that and told her that I man not giving out any other info. I again requested that I need to speak to someone from Sanlam in person. So a few days went by with no contact from Sanlam. Then an e-mail with a survey of my communication with Sanlam. There I said that service was non existent and I give permission that my info can be provided to Sanlam for feedback. This is now 4 weeks later and Sanlam have not contacted me yet. What do I need to do to get action from their service department?
For the last three weeks I tried to get an answer at Vodacom's call centre regarding an upgrade that went horribly wrong. I have called more than 10 times. Every time they start to run into difficulty helping me, the said that someone else will help me with me request and they will transfer me. They then just terminate the call. I have also asked tor other means to contact them and they then provide E-mail addresses that doesn't go through (Undelivered). It seems that there is no way that I can get an issue resolved. How do I get someone at VODACOM to help?
