We just had a late lunch at the CB at Langeberg Mall in Mosselbay, and therefore the restaurant was quiet with only a few customers. The service and ambience is doing an injustice to the brilliant food served. A noisy crowd that was asked by the manager once to tone it down continued for hours, The manager disappeared and is clearly not in control. No finger bowl or wet wipe accompanied the ribs! When we informed the waitress, she acknowledged our complaint by confirming it! Oh no, brilliant food spoilt by ignorant service personnel.
I have been trying to upgrade since my contract expired on 23 June 2019. I have been to two stores: Potchefstroom (twice) who informed me that there is some fraudulent account linked to my name that is in arrears and now blocking my upgrade. After visiting the Clearwater Mall store (where I have always received excellent service), I was informed that the manager advised me to pay the outstanding amount on the fraudulent account!!! That is now after two weeks holding for "legal" for hours and get cut-off every time. How's that for service? So, now I have sent numerous e-mails to MTN and their contractor handling the upgrades - yes, I had to write an affidavit stating the fraudulent account does not belong to me. This was done on 23 July 2019, up to today I have not received any update from Phelo or her supervisor Mosa. I am not paying my account - the difference between keeping me on the current contract and the one I want to upgrade to is R1 000 - very convenient for MTN to drag this out as long as they can! What a disgrace....not a single competent person in employment?

<p>I have had two 2GB data contracts with MTN for 9 years - always CAPPED. Upgraded in 2015 telephonically, went a whole year without exceeding data limits (BECAUSE IT IS CAPPED), but in November 2016 it suddenly changes from CAPPED to UNCAPPED and now I am told it was not capped since my last upgrade??? What a wonderful way to make money, R3 700 to be exact!!! I have been paying my normal subscription fees without having any data since November 2016, yet MTN hands my account over to laywers??? This is crazy...</p>
<p>Worst support service ever! They capitalize on their customers' ignorance!!! Remember when you buy an e-book to authorize it on all your devises and then NEVER change your devices!! Even with proof of purchase, they cannot assist you to recover the e-book a year later! How pathetic and dishonest!</p>
