I often deal with Timothy for various queries and assistance on my policy. He is very courteous and helpful. He even assisted me with my most recent claim which is outside of his duties. An indication that he always goes the extra mile. Almost everytime I call I get through to him and he is always willing to assist. He is a true asset to your team!
I am really disappointed in the terrible service I am receiving from Absa. I have my bond and vehicle finance with them. I had my current account for many years and closed it. I will definitely not be taking any other accounts with them in the future. I closed my current account in May 2025 after many years. I made an online purchase with my Absa Card in April 2025. I got a refund from the online store and it went into the closed current account and never bounced back. I sent the proof of payments but still no response. I was in the branch 3 times but they could not assist. I was told to send an email to debitcarddisputes@absa.co.za. its been over a week and still no response. I even escalated to actionline and the ceo office and they cant even respond? I am always reminded why I should never do any kind of business with Absa. I guess this time will be the last.
The Agent by the name of Johnson assisted me to take out my policy. His service was very good. He was knowledgeable and friendly. Very good service. Benefits and premiums

I have been struggling to get a refund for almost a month. I seen so many complaints regarding refunds. I even escalated the internal complaint but they even ignore me. Looks like the only solution would be going to the Ombudsman? They quick to sell you products but after sale service is pathetic. Firstly you guys lie about a dedicated premier line. It's just like a general line when calling. Can't get through. Secondly you guys are behaving like an angry Ex. I'm a past employee. My staff rate was removed which is totally understandable. But why move my home loan interest rate to the highest possible? I asked your pricing team to reconsider and they also declined. I moved my wife and kids to bank with you guys. I was also in the process of moving my life cover to Absa life. I have a persona loan and even going to pay it up so I don't have to do any business with you guys. For someone with a good credit score to pay such a high interest rate is ********* business practice. Please note that if my homeloan interest rate doesn't go down to an acceptable rate I will move all my business from you guys effectively immediately. And please don't advertise that you guys have a dedicated premier banking line. It's a lie
I Bought a Grafton Everest lounge suite just over 2 years ago. After a year the leather started cracking. You guys collected it and repaired it. After a few months it started deteriorating again. You guys acted again a few months ago. Now the same 3 and 1 seater's leather started cracking again. I tried calling your call center but the agent just cut my call while I was speaking to her. It's always a nightmare trying to get assistance from you'll. Please can somebody contact me to discuss getting this issue resolved. Its frightening how a lounge suite I paid over 20K for is cracking for the 3rd time in less than 3 years. The account is on my wife's name ID ********** 041084
I have been having endless problems with Multichoice, This is my 2nd complaint on Hellopeter. Last month i logged a complaint and Linda Magongo called me, she ensured me that she would assist me but i dont get any feedback from her, I sent her 3 emails which she doesn't even reply to, pathetic service . Multichoice messed up my billing, i paid by debit order and they didnt end up debiting, i maid manual payment on time but they still updated my credit report negatively, this has had a very bad impact on my credit record. I even spoke to a Supervisor by the name of Sello Mothoa that advised he will assist but still nothing, I have never experienced such pathetic service, it's like they just do not care. What do I have to do to get this sorted? again i am saying this is messing up my credit record and i want these records removed from the credit bureaus. I cant believe such a huge organisation can have so much incompetent stuff. It's shocking.
