After using agoda again today because they refunded me agoda cash and not my cash refund I'm warning people that theses people deal with people who false advertise. We booked on THE AGODA WEBSITE and we're mislead to the dodgiest building in Jhb Town with the most unhygienic rooms and worst conditions. The situation is such we are now sleeping in our vehicle because they refuse to assist us.
I had an appalling experience with Agoda that I feel compelled to share. Their website featured false advertising and facilitated overbooking, leaving my family and me in a dire situation. After making a booking through Agoda, we discovered upon arrival that the hotel had no record of our reservation and was fully booked. We were forced to drive from hotel to hotel for over 14 hours, desperately seeking accommodation. It was late at night, and being stranded in a car with no place to sleep was both stressful and exhausting. This entire ordeal could have been avoided if Agoda ensured the accuracy of their listings and booking confirmations. Instead, their failure to address these critical aspects left us feeling abandoned. I contacted their customer service, but the response was disappointing, with no adequate resolution or compensation offered. This is unacceptable for a platform that claims to provide reliable travel services. I strongly urge others to be cautious when using Agoda. My experience has taught me that their advertising and booking processes cannot be trusted. Until they address these issues.
What an appauling room condition dirty carpets torn bedding no water and bug infested, what horrible service and for the price I think this must be checked with the group
This was the worst experience ever I'm appalled to see that this hotel is still in operation after the dreadful rooms and the unfriendly hotel restaurant staff. A bad taste in anyone's mouth. Being from Gauteng we patronize local to make it easier for our local business however obviously our local hotels are an absolute disappointment
Vodacom contact centre has the most pathetic supervisors who scream on top of your voice. I am disappointed at such bad service and unhelpful behaviour by supervisors.
