I am struggling to find the words of frustration. I officially cancelled back in March with the call center which is impossible to get hold of. I got my reference and thought all was ok. In April I was charged again, I called and again got an apology and was promised the funds taken would be returned. Guess what, in May the same thing happened and June. Eventually I cancelled the card they somehow kept on debiting. Now every month I get multiple phone calls demanding payment and messages. Still waiting for my refund and a customer service person to contact me. As a long standing customer this is beyond annoying and frustrating.
It is not often that in South Africa we get the level of service that Courier Guy provided for me this weekend. I had a shipment that was coming in with Aramex to Johannesburg but got routed to Durban in error. Normally this is not an issue, except that I had to get the delivery as it contained my wedding clothes and I leave tomorrow! I booked same day express with courier guy on a Saturday and Lucia helped arrange to pickup the package from Aramex and get it to me in Johannesburg in absolute record time. I got the parcel on a Sunday morning!!!! I cannot praise Lucia and the team enough for the amazing service to help with such an important delivery.
<div>We signed up in 2021 with Otto Communications who promised us a cheaper phone line system than our current provider. Seemed like a good option with nothing to loose. After a few months we were spending significantly more than the previous provider (BITCO) and as a result went back to the owner Cheyne explaining this was not as promised. I then decided to go back to my previous provider and Cheyne refused to port our phone number which is against the communications act. Long story short we are still being debited every single month (3 years later) for a service we don't use and they refuse to cancel. Everytime Cheyne claims that the SLA that we signed is a 5 year contract and we cannot cancel. This is also against the consumer protection act which has very clear guidelines around canceling a service. My advice is to avoid this company if you wish to avoid headaches and wasted money.</div>
Unfortunately these guys are total thrives. Do not go near them! We were promised a cheaper solution to our current provider but once signed up, provided equipment at least 10 times the retail cost and then refuse to cancel a debit order for a standard monthly subscription. Been years now and they still *******ly debit. A colleagues boyfriend worked for them so was under the impression they were trust worthy. Unfortunately we have to now take legal action. Please avoid at all cost!
What a pathetic excuse of a business. We got scammed into a lease that makes no sense. Been trying for months to get hold of someone but no one ever answers nor replies to emails. So disgusted that I have to go down the CPA route. Never do business with these guys and I pray you also do not get scammed
Absolutely disgusting service. Paid in full for a new machine which was supposed to be ready weeks ago. Now Chris doesn't respond to messages, phone calls or whatsapps. I guess now only way forward is to take legal action.
