I recently leased my property in Fresnaye through Soukop Property Group, with Gemma and Andreas Soukop as my agents. What incredible service I received from them. They were professional and kept me informed every step of the way. I would not hesitate to recommend them
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On 5th November last year, Elliott Mobility arrived at our office in Camps Bay to collect furniture to be removed and stored at a storage facility, with a few labeled boxes to be delivered to our Sea Point Office.. We had been advised that they were able to pack the boxes for us. We stacked everything into the boardroom and from there, the goods were packed into boxes and loaded into their van. When we arrived at the storage facility, I realized that there was an old computer tower missing. I asked the employees of Elliott where it was and I was promised that it had been packed into a box that was now in storage. Luckily, I chose not to accept this claim at face value and went to look for it. I asked numerous times for them to please double check in the truck, which they did, and again promised it had been packed into a box. After watching unpack the entire storeroom box by box 3 times there was definitely no computer in any of the boxes. By this time, exhausted and frustrated, I had had enough and went to advise my husband that a computer was missing. I also called Deon Small (Manager) and advised him My husband went and spoke to the employees and told them in no uncertain terms that if the computer did not appear, he would call the police and no one would be allowed to leave until it was found. Not surprisingly, the computer magically appeared out of the back of the truck, after they had SEARCHED in there at my request earlier and promised me that nothing was in there. They worked also BEGGED us not to say anything, lying and telling us it was their first day on the job and they didn’t want to get fired (I later found out that this was not true) After 2 or 3 days had transpired and we were done unpacking boxes at our Sea Point office, we could not find my husband’s laptop anywhere! …. Here we go again! I immediately reported this to Deon (Manager) who seemed very concerned and promised us that he would conduct polygraph testing on them and that all I needed to do was open a case at the police station so they would begin their own investigation internally. Well today is now almost 3 months later, Elliott will not answer my telephone calls and all they could say is that the police have closed the investigation due to a lack of evidence! How is this my problem? I was promised a polygraph and internal investigation! No APOLOGY was offered, no solution…. NOTHING! I am absolutely disgusted by the way that I have been treated and by the lies and broken promises!

I ordered a relatively expensive telescope from Johannesburg for my husband’s birthday on 02 January. I paid extra to have it sent over night (it was delivered to Fontein Bleu in JHB on the 29th Dec). I received no notification from the Sea Point Post Office that the package had a arrived, so on the 3rd of January I went in to see if it was there, and was told that it had arrived late on the 2nd, a problem for which I did not make a scene (even though I paid extra to have it sent overnight and it took 4 days!!!). I signed for the package and when it was passed to me it felt quite light and I laughingly joked with the man behind the counter and asked if there was anything inside. Luckily I made the call to open the package inside the post office and to my horror, the box was completely empty. I was shown to the manager’s office (Marius Siebrits) where I was offered an apology and asked to wait while a phone call was made to Fontein Bleu. They confirmed that the package weighed 3.5kgs when it was checked in at the Post Office, so it obviously went missing between JHB and CPT. I was told that this usually happened to about 20 people over this period. We asked if he could check the cctv and we were told that it does not work (conveniently). My husband called to ask what had happened and what was going to be done about it and

Marius told him that I was lying and slammed the hone down on him.

The whole experience has been horrifying and completely unprofessional, not even a single call from the Post Office with an update or apology, it’s no wonder you are going out of business.

I will now make contact with my attorney unless this is resolved by this week

I recieved a tommee tippee electric breastpump from a friend, but two parts were missing. I was very stressed out as i only realised this now and i am going in to have my baby tomorrow. Zana was incredibly helpful and contacted the supplier, she even arranged for me to have the replacement parts at no cost. She was polite, helpful and understanding of the situation and is a definite asset to the Baby City team, I am incredibly appreciative of her help and would highly recommend this store to any future mummy's

I recently enquired on purchasing a Valentina French Daybed for our little girls nursery. A week after my enquiry, my mum unfortunatly passed away and being heavily pregnant at 8 months, it was alot to deal with. When i contacted Ceilo/Wheco a month later to explain what had happened, i was told that the price had gone up and that they would not be able to honour the price originaly quoted as they now had new stock. I was very upset by this, but i let it go. Just over a month after this had transpired, i decided to give it one more attempt, i unfortunatly could not afford to go up to the new price as it was almost R1500 more than originally quoted. When i called Wheco, Natusha took my call, i explained the situation to her and even offered to give her a copy of the death certificate. She was kind, gentle and accomodating stating that there was no need for that and that she completly understood. She arranged for me to have the bed at the original price and sent me the invoice for payment. My bed has just arrived and i am thrilled! Natusha handled a sensitive situation with empathy and kindness, she is truly an d asset to Wheco group and i would definitly recomend them and her for suture business.
