A *****! Don’t let him near your appliances. Came to fix a blocked Samsung washing machine- the machine was brand new. Told my husband it needed a new motor, paid him R3000 and the machine never worked again. When we asked him to refund us after the third time he came to fix his mess, he said to report him to the police and get a court date.
Don from Dom Republic called me up and gave me a full refund. Thanks for the excellent response, Dom, handled like a pro! Lots of lessons all round, hopefully only happiness and good vibes in future Xx
When I asked if I could please book an appointment for the salon-owner, Dom, to cut my hair, I was told by his (girlfriend)/ receptionist that Dom 'chooses' his clients; even though he did not have a client at the time. She Offered me Tyron instead. I asked Tyron to quote me on a haircut in the shape of a 'bob', and a full head of BLONDE highlights- he quoted me R 1900.00 (I am naturally dark blonde). What I got for my R 1900.00 was a dull, flat, BROWN TINT. When I called to say I wasn't happy later that same day, Tyron had a tantrum, saying he was 'offended' that I was not happy, and to call him back after I'd washed my hair twice. I emailed Dom, asking for him to personally take accountability, as the owner of the salon, and to either fix the color, or refund my money. True to the immature and unprofessional behavior that I'd encounter at the salon previously, my email was met with... radio silence. No apology, no accountability, certainly no offer of a refund. Dom clearly has no concept of the customer as king; no respect for how much a reputation is worth, no manners, and no idea what it means to be a leader. To allow his girlfriend/ receptionist to speak to potential/ clients so rudely, without an ounce of grace, in the hope of creating a 'snob-appeal' screams of his own immaturity (as well as hers), and their utter lack of poise or style. Disgraceful experience. A total waste of time and energy, not to mention money. There are so many TALENTED, kind people out there, including the team at TWINCARE, who took it upon themselves to correct Tyron's shocking work, and did it with true professionalism, efficiency and kindness.
Michael is a scammer! Please please please DO NOT let this man talk you into parting with your money. He took a large deposit from us to build a new kitchen, and as soon as he had our money, he disappeared, never to be seen again. He doesn't answer phone calls, doesn't return calls, won't give details about where he works. Also told us he was accredited, which he is not. Basically you have no way of contacting him or holding him to his promises once he's made off with your money. PLEASE DON'T GET CAUGHT BY THIS SCAMMER
