Absolute pathetic service from the lady that answers the phone and does the booking!! Extremely rude and arrogant!! Made a booking with them prior to the presidents speech, after the speech i was contacted by the lady and she requested that they now will only leave an our later ( 06h00 ) which will make us miss our flight. She said i will need to change my flight which i did. This morning i was contacted again only to be told they will leave at 05h00 again. Which will then leave me and my wife and 1 year old to be waiting for a flight for almost 2 hours. She said that unfortunately its out of her control, and we will just need to deal with it! I then requested a refund so i can make later arrangements whereby i was met with very rude and arrogent answer of ....NO WE DONT DO REFUNDS According to the CPA act: " Consumers have a right to a full refund in the event of travel bans and restrictions" They are extremely unproffesional and i would not recommend this company at all!
<p>So i've had it with DSTV - this is my last resort and really hope someone will hear my cries!</p> <p>I previously had DSTV but canceled my 1st contract in 2014 due to budget concerns, but it was canceled right after my debit order went off so the lady from DSTV told me that they can not refund me that money but it will stay on my account and when i decide to open the account again i will have a credit of a couple of R100 or so.</p> <p>In 2015 i recieved a sms from my Bank.... debit order - DSTV - R 1400 & something Rand deducted from my account. This was very strange because i canceld my DSTV in 2014 and was not a DSTV client at that point!! So i contacted DSTV and a call centre consultant told me that something went wrong on their system and that some of their OLD client's debit orders went through - but i don not need to worry this was a mistake on DSTV's side and that they will do a reversal for me. About a week later i got my money back from DSTV so no worries.</p> <p> </p> <p>Now in 2016 i decided i'm going to open my account again - it was n breeze - bought a new decoder etc - phoned DSTV - the consultant picked up that i still have a credit on the account and only need to pay R202.00 in before the end of the month - perfect - hour later and im on the couch watching rugby!</p> <p>A week later wake up go to the living room switch my tv on...............some type of error on the screen......so i phoned DSTV to find out what the problem is. " Sorry sir but we disconnected your service because you have an amount of R1400 & something outstanding on the account " .... WHAT????</p> <p> </p> <p>Told the consultant the whole story and after she put me on hold which felt like forever came back to me and told me that she picked up the problem on the system - saw that they debited my account when i was not a client and also saw that i got my money back - so she will send the info to head office or something - promised me that i dont need to worry the problem will be resolved. She then activated my account again - and there i am watching tv again!</p> <p> </p> <p>End of the month - debit order time - so i know only R759 will go off for DSTV ...... get my SMS ..... R2200.00!!!!!!!!!</p> <p>I phoned in again spoke to a Tebogo - he told me the same thing - he sees that there is a outstanding amount blah blah blah same story - but it was a mistake on their side and he will make sure it is resolved and he will get back to me within 24 hours -- in the mean time i should go to the bank and do a reversal of the money - which i did. 24 hours come an go - 48 hours.... 1 week ...... 2 weeks.... SO Today decided i will phone in again. Same whole story start again.... i will send this to my manager and they will have to come back to you sir there is nothing i can do about it and i cant activate your acount if you dont pay the full outstanding amount of R2200.00.</p> <p> </p> <p>I told him that i am not going to pay that amount because it was not my mistake and i dont owe DSTV anything - and they dont owe me anything........I only owe dstv R759 for the 2nd month of sevice.... so i told him i will do an EFT right away for R759 - but he will have to sort out the wrongly charged amount as i am not paying for their mistake. Then asked him if he will please make sure to then activate my acount as soon as the payment shows on the system.....NO SIR I CANT HELP YOU - YOU HAVE T PAY THE OUTSTANDING AMOUNT OF R2200.00 BEFORE I CAN ACTIVATE YOUR ACCOUNT - REALLY!!!!!!</p> <p> </p> <p>So here i am ....... no DSTV ......</p> <p>Still no one who phones me back.</p> <p>Nothing resolved - and i have no where to turn!!</p> <p>You can't phone the accounts department to rectify the problem ---- they have to phone you - but NO ONE DOES!!!!</p> <p>It takes them more than a year and a 1/2 to TRY and rectify a problem that any person with 1/2 a brain can do in 30 minutes!!!!</p> <p> </p> <p>DSTV i really hope you do something about this or im going to turn to social media!</p> <p> </p> <p>DSTV - USELESS!!!!!!!</p> <p>USELESS EMPLOYEES!!!!!</p> <p>USELESS ACOUNTS DEPARTMENT!!!!</p> <p> </p> <p>RATING : 0 / 10</p> <p> </p> <p>Regards</p> <p>Paul Klaver</p>
