I placed an order online on 8 December 2025, which I only received on 30 December 2025 due to delivery delays, public holidays and drivers telling me my house number does not exist. Today 22 January 2026 I decided to go in store to return the item I purchased online as it was not suited. I was told that my time lapsed so I can not return the item, what???? I received the item only on 30 December.... this being a busy time for all I had things to do, worked, etc and therefore only had the time to sort out this matter and now to be told I can't return this R2399 dress that I don't even like or like the way it fits, madness Please assist in allowing me to return this dress as I should have until the 30 January to return this item Very unhappy customer
Yesterday 13 Feb 2025 i was on the woolworths app scrolling through dresses and came a country road dress that was marked down by when adding it to my cart the discount was not app****. I closed the app 2 or 3 times and still the same thing no discount was app****. I called into the call center and as you can imagine i came through to the incorrect department, the gentle said he transfer me to the correct department but the call was disconnected. I went back on the app and still the same thing happened no discount app**** for adding the dress. I took a screenshot of the dress and it clearly shows the dress is marked down. This morning i went on the app and the discount was removed.
What a complete waste time calling your bank and asking them for help to stop a payment from going through, their response wait for the payment to go through and then call us again. I called Discovery bank on friday 13 September 2024 to inform them that the payment has now gone through, what should i do next after giving them all the details of the transaction, only for them to tell me look out for an email from us to complete a form, it's tuesday today and still no email and the money has left my account.
I'm so disappointed in the service I received and now no one get's back to me. How convincing people can be when they want you to sign up for something but once the deed is done they no longer available to assist. This agent convinced me to sign up for debt review and promised to guide me every step of the way. He was very helpful but only for his own to get me to sign up. I was required to sign a debt mandate before evening knowing how much I was going to be paying, which I found really weird as this is not normally how a debt mandate works. Send through all relevant docs that were required and still didn't know how much was going to pay, insurance added which I don't understand how it works or what I will be paying. I still have creditors calling me and some installments still being deducted. I'm stuck now in something I can't get out of... I don't know what to do
What a total rip off.... How can they do this without explaining anything or making sure you understand... Now because of an error the bank makes I now need to pay for that, so disgusted! when will this behavior ever stop with banks and ripping people off...
Oh my word, where do I start... what a disgusting service I received from team leader and she did not see what she was doing wrong or that she was providing a disgusting service. I was also promised a call back from a manager which never happened but this i already knew it was going to happen as the team leader was telling me to take the maanger's email address which i didn't understand as the team leader requested for the manager to call me back. why are companies like this getting away with treating customers so poorly. Yes i know we have debt to pay but really now we are still human beings with feelings and we deserve to be treated with respect. i hope woolworths realizes how this company is really damaging their brand and possibly loosing customers too...
On sunday 1 May 2022, I was invited to join some friends for a birthday celebration at the thirsty scarecrow. I have been there before and enjoyed their food and atmosphere but on Sunday it was terrible. We were at table of give or take 20 people and would have expected more that one waiter to assist with such a large group. we ordered food and drinks, the bill was over R7k so the waiter received a generous tip but in my opinion he was not deserving of this tip. he was impatient with taking our order, at one point he walked away whilst someone was placing an order with him as she just mixed up a ****tail name. everyone understood that they needed to be patient with him but he had no patients with any of us. at one point he told us all to place one order with him to avoid he going back and forth as if he was doing us a favor, really now we paid for his service. Thirsty scarecrow please make sure you have the right staff and that they are ready to serve big tables when they need to as they could easily be chasing away your customers
So disgusted by the way people lie and twist what you say only to cover themselves. there are no SMS as proof but yet i'm made out to be the bad one.... how do these people get away with what are they doing and how the treat people...
