I am writing this to express my frustration over Avis. I rented a car in December ant King Shaka and I was given a car with many scratches and I was told that all the scratches and damages on the car are noted. During my trip I got a stone chip to the windscreen but I had taken out insurance for that and I was told that i will only be liable for a R500 administration fee. Now Avis comes up with additional claims which were not noted upon returning the car. I am told that there is damage to the left sill of the car, damage which was noted and pictures of that were taken before I took the car at King Shaka. Why is Avis doing this. Is this a way of ****ming customers of their deposits?
Please do not waste your money! They do not deliver on dates promised
Why is it that we do not receive any response regarding our claims? My husband and I have submitted our claim on the 14th of October and we haven’t heard anything from this company. Not even an email acknowledging receipt of claim. Does this company even exist?

Good day,

My device was send through to IPHIX by FNB insurance brokers over two months ago. IPHIX hasn't fixed my device to this date and they tell me that the reason for that is because I never paid the excess for them to proceed with the repair. IPHIX send me an email to tell me what the excess is and asked me if they could proceed with the repair? to which I answered yes, nobody told me that I needed to paid the excess IPHIX could proceed with the repair or even gave me information with regards to where to I must pay excess. My device has now been with them for over 2 months and nobody bothered to contact me to say that my device's repair is withheld, I only hear all of this today when I wanted to find out how far they were with the repair as it has been too long. FNB please take my device to another service provider that can assist me because this is really pathetic. After my telephonic conversation with the owner of IPHIX I am really disappointed as he is so rude with me instead of assisting me and giving the way forward. FNB reference number for the repair is FNB45163/1
