Had a bad experience with them, I purchased boards to do a kitchen, went to pick up the boards in town where they cut to size, all didn't fit on one load, then I came back the next day to collect the rest of the boards , the boards were gone, and the staff advised if my name wasn't on it they can't help me and walked away. Terrible attitude from staff. Then they said they will call me as soon as they locate the measurements of board I was short on , they never called.

Pulse Tiles - Berea / overport - had a special for ZAR 400.00 for a bookshelf, rag, iron and kettle. I went to the store on 29.08.2025 - I called in and the person that answered said that I must rush to their store as it is getting sold out, when I got there, the store was closed due to Friday being a prayer day which is understandable as I know not all businesses close for the same (I could have been notified) and I do not live close by). Thereafter I enter the store, its been over 1 and a half hour, back and forth, I had to wait for a quote and then I can only purchase the special, the salesman was up and down with multiple people and I was promised it would only take 5 mins. After the 4th time of asking, it was no change. To get a special that they specially advertised was a nightmare, if they do not have the man power to run it, dont promote it. I did report it on their advertising platform on social media and it was deleted. I am very upset as my time and effort was wasted. I rather pay the full price and get it elsewhere - learnt my lesson.

UNLAWFUL BUSINESS PRACTICE!!! I designed a bathroom together with my plumber on 3rd of February . We settled on a price and duties he would fulfil. One of those duties was to supply and install waterproofing. I purchased goods at Pulse Tiles Overport a week after the plumber installed new pipes. A week later (after my room emptied) I noticed that I have unused goods such as waterproofing and 4 other items that I haven’t asked for. I went to pulse tiles to get a “credit note” (which is a rigmarole on its own merit as you have to drive back and fourth to and from dispatch to showroom). I declined to take more items as my bathroom is complete and asked for a refund. The manager Emam Gany advised me that they have policies and don’t do refunds. And I advised Emam that the salesman Alton Munsami added items to my quote without my consent which is what I’m returning. Although they have “policies” that are contrary to the consumer protection act i told Emam I have no intention of returning items for my own money back, I’m returning the items because I haven’t requested them, maybe Alton was uncertain?. He continued to defend his “no return policy” to which I have elaborated to Emam that by adding items to my quote without my consent is fraud ! His reaction was to stand up, stick his face in mine asking “what you going to do about it !” . I was so confused, I didn’t know if this elderly man was trying to square off with me or threaten me?. He eventually went lengths trying to mitigate the point on fraud. Contacting the salesman Alton via telecom to which he responded “You did ask for waterproofing” and “check the cameras and see”. Emam handed me the phone and I asked Elton if I had specifically asked for waterproofing to which he responded “I don’t know, I don’t remember, it was a long time ago” . After an awkward and embarrassing wait I was refunded (a good few rands short) but I was not willing to wait to give anyone a math lesson on two items. Although this compliant construct is around fraud. There are other factors that I would refrain from Pulse Tiles Overport such as :- - No money refund (irrespective of they own 7 day return policy) (against consumer protection act) - They credit note business structure ( you have to store the items you wish to exchange once you’re ready to exchange it) - Service (I requested a product from Emam I intended buying at a competitor. I thought pulse would appreciate my loyalty. He sent me an invoice. I have reminded him on two occasions at the showroom to which he responded “I’ll call you in half an hour”. 8 days later contacted the competitor and got product within one business day.

Horrible service. I bought a Gerbrit toilet seat for about R1600. It came damaged at the hinges. Wen asked to replace the item the blatantly refused saying i signed for the order and they cannot do anything. I called Gerbrit directly and they told me its up to the manager at Pulse to decide. I still went to their customer services and they said its against their policy to exchange and we were supposed to open the sealed items at the warehouse and check. I bought goods on that day for over R18000 and they still refused to change the one seat and my bathroom is incomplete. They js care abt their sales not the customer.

I bought a jacuzzi tub from them. Not only did it take a lifetime for them to deliver but the product was also damaged. The tubs skirting was cracked and broken, a couple of legs were missing and a few parts for the plumbing were also missing. When I called to inform them of this they told me I can't (won't) do anything because I already signed for the delivery. Of cause I signed for the delivery, how else was I supposed to receive my stuff that took them months to deliver. As for the ones they didn't include they said they would deliver them immediately, that was in February. Not only did they sell me damaged products, and showed no interest or care when I informed them, I incurred added expense trying to fix and replace their mess. Never again will I ever order from them

We are DISGUSTED by the after sales experience we received from this company, not only was their product defective, they treated us like liars to avoid having to reimburse us for their defective product. After confirming with the sales assistant that the mosaics we were interested in could be used for the shower, we purchased their mosaics and the mosaic cement from Pulse. Hardly 2 weeks had passed following installation of the mosaics that we noticed almost 40% of the mosaics had started turning from silver to black. After contacting the store, they sent an assessor to verify our claims. For each implausible suggestion the assessors made , we were able to refute their illogical explanations. Furthermore their customer service representative does not bother to feedback even after chasing up with them for a week. If you want to truly know if its worth dealing with a company its by their after sales support and if they * treat their customers fairly *. Pulse does not live up to this.

I am writting to make people aware of the disgusting after sales service i received from pulse tiles in brickfield road. I went to buy a shower door from them and decided to take a specific type and while i was there i also decided to redo my bathroom after seeing the tiles. So eventually i left buying the shower door, tiles, and a shower unit. After a month of prepping the bathroom and taking the exsisting tiles out, i opened the shower box to get the correct size to build the cubical accordingly and noticed as soon as i opened the frame that it had a whole lot of scraches on the metal. I called pulse and spoke to a lady by the name of Ruth, she told me that she will check the cameras and call me back which she didnt. Then this morining i had called her back and she told me that they will not help me in a return or even replace the scratched part and they immediately cut the call.

I bought tiles for the whole house. The salesman told me he will organise transport. When goods were delivered they were 5bags of cement short.it was discovered by the driver. He called the store. I spoke to dispetch. He said I must come and collect the 5bags. I told him I want my money back. This was 23rd of November. Even now the dispatch is talking to driver. I have not received my refund
