I sent the following online complaint to Quickpark via their website on the 5th of January 2018 and have received no response from them. "I would just like to know why, if I parked my car at 13h03 and paid my parking at 16h34 I was charged R54 for parking when the parking attendant clearly told me that the price of parking was R3 for every 15 minutes? I also don't understand why the "park time paid until" says 17h33 - I live in Cape Town and I was already home before that time!" The details of the parking area are as follows: Location: Somerset West; SWEST09 Marshal: HB2151 Date/Time: 2018-01-04 @ 16:30:00 Ticket No.: ********** 2 Reference No.: 75423cbb8c8809

I observed as a quickpark meter attendant harassed an unknowing mother who had no idea of the service. She had just moved to Durbanville and thinking it is not the CBD, she parked for 10 minutes as she had her vitality reward free vida coffee. She had not brought any money with her as she was expecting to only use the free coffee voucher. There was only a tony sign showing a P and someone handing money out of a car. This was only pointed out to her later by the attendant. After the mother showed the attendant that she had only 20c in her wallet and did not know she would need to pay for parking there the attendant continued to harrass her. She requested that the R5.60 bill be sent to her registration numbers address as she had no other option. The attandant then complained that she was not going to send a fine she wants the money. this poor mother not knowing what to do almost had a breakdown with her 4 month old child now in the car. I then walked up to the attendant and told her to **** off and told the mother to just go. Now I am worked up and I am sure the poor mother is busy crying her baby to sleep. Not impressed at all by this
