😞 I'm extremely disappointed with my recent purchase of 2 tubs of giblets from Rainbow Chicken. When I opened the tubs, I was shocked and disgusted to find that they were mixed with chicken hearts and necks. I specifically bought giblets, not a mix of other chicken parts. Not what I paid for! Would not recommend. 1/5 stars.

I bought a 5kg pack of mixed chicken portions and to my horror all the pieces were breast meat. Dried up chicken meat. Contacted rainbow who apologised by saying they do not have control over what pieces are placed in the pack. Who then does have control? Why call it "mixed portions" because clearly the portions are not mixed.

I bought the Rainbow Chicken strips what was on special in checkers. I made a purchase in December and the crumbs on the strips was burnt. I always purchase and never had this issue. This was such a waste of my money and I was very disappointed, surely quality control should have picked up on this before sending out for Delivery. The crumbs were just extra brown but burnt

My wife had purchased Rainbow smoked Vienna’s with cheese for my toddler son. This was bought at Highlands Spar on Friday the 15th just after 15:00pm. This is a easy snack for my 19 month old child during the day and we have been buying them even prior to his birth for the wife and myself. My son has now been sick for 3 days and does not eat - i am going for my second day of being sick. from the packet i noticed multiple black spots all over in the packet, after inspecting this i found a foul smell and also the black spots turned out to be ants, hundreds of them. I am seriously considering to sue you for this. I am also not concerned if you blame the Spar for this or they blame you for this as that is not my problem. Once i have to start paying for legal fees to resolve this i will also claim those back from you. I hope you have legitimate answers for me regarding this, this is disgusting. I will not have the safety of my family put in harms way due to incompetency To make things even worst is the mail adress on the food packaging does not work so my mail keeps failing to them, i also cannot phone them as the only 3 numbers i could get for them are in other cities and none of them work either. They have no contact number on their website either and i filled in the online form om their site but offcourse no response from them. It seems that it's normal of them not to respond to complaints from what i read online. They also posted a whatsapp number for complaints and offcourse nobody is helping me either there. Purchased a 1.5kg bag of chicken wings and 70% of the pieces in the pack were just wing tips. I logged a complaint via the RCL website and then I received a reference number and a response asking for information via email. I typed up the required information and tried replying but the email kept being returned with a message that the mailbox is full. I then called the customer support number to get assistance; the 1st call I made the lady was not helpful and informed me that a different division deals with such queries and promised they will escalate and get them to call me. I waited 2 days and tried calling again, I spoke to a helpful agent who took all of my details and gave me another reference number with a promise of another call back. I instead received an email from the lady that initially responded who asked me to send the details via their WhatsApp number which I did. To date I haven't received a response from their WhatsApp number nor another email. I then made another call and spoke to another helpful agent who promised a call back, this was on Thursday the 29th of May. My original complaint was logged on the 17th of May and I have had no joy with my complaint being addressed and resolved only empty promises. The reference numbers are 96795 and 36511383

It’s very disappointing that when you buy 4 packs of chicken but to find out the the chicken was off after it’s been cooked and complete deck of food gets wasted. This was cooked to feed the community which was not feed on the day.
