Revolting homes, ******** behavior, We tried to be nice but that was our fault for trying to find middle ground these people. Never again! Know your property rights and twist the knife when you can because they deserve it!

The worst rental company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Riana and Taryn have absolutely no customer service skills at all, dishonest and unprofessional as the other reviews suggest If you value your sanity and you're money stay very far away from this company. From get go there was a few red flags although I was very optimistic and thought everyone was operating in good faith. Just for the record we have always paid our rent on time 29th of every month and have never missed or delayed a payment. The main issue started when we left, it took 4 weeks before we received any feedback regarding our deposit and once I requested my deposit back we were sent 2 invoices to the value of more than our deposit. Repainting of the house and landscaping.. R15k+ 3 months later, till not deposit in sight. We had to take them to housing tribunal to try and get recover our deposit. In a nutshell this is what I've noticed, firstly the houses that are up for rent have issues ranging from broken mirrors, broken showers, broken stoves , fans, rotten kitchen cupboards, plumbing issues. Then what they do is move you into this unit and hope that you don't complain. Once you complain and attempt to get someone to come out and fix the issues you will be ignored or told that the landlord doesn't want to fix these issues at this current time. If you don't report the issues then you will be the one to pay for these exact issues when you leave the premises with your hard earned deposit. So basically it's your responsibility to take time out of your day to be home for repairs to take place. They do not offer units which are perfectly ready to be lived in. You as the client must fix these issues with your time as they can't be bothered. We were unfortunate enough to take a second rental with them as they are the only rental company in our complex so we've had to deal with the same issues twice over. On the day we were set to move in, our parking spot was taken by another tenant. With all our stuff loaded we had to walk around the complex knocking on doors to find out who was using the parking spot which we paid R2500 deposit to use. When asked about this I was told "I'm not sure what you expect us to do, you live in the complex." This is the type of service you can expect from this company. To conclude don't waste your time and money on this company, they do not value you as the client and don't value your business.

There should be an option for ZERO stars! How is it that in 2024 you have people such as Ian Sinclair who represent your company. His level of basic human decency is at a negative 10, he is rude, uncouth, ill-mannered and ******. We cannot have people like hi calling anybody "You People" in this country. He doesn't like it here he should leave Africa and go where he feels more at home. This is disgusting and frankly makes me and everyone I know unwilling to work with Rawson in the future. We are young professionals who in the very near future would like to either rent or purchase properties, and one thing I know for sure we will not be doing any business with Rawson Properties.

Riana is absolutely the WORST!!! The audacity to charge me R1000 from R300 for the extension of a month which was their fault to begin with, as they sent me a new lease agreement late with the most absurd terms & conditions. She's also RUDE, UPROFESSIONAL AND UNETHICAL. Cannot wait to have them out of my life forever!!!!!!!!!!! Totally distasteful company in the real estate business.

Zero star rating from me. Rawson Northriding is unethical and not a good business to deal with. On numerous occasions I pointed out repairs that had to be undertaken on a unit I had been renting for over 3 years, but my requests were simply ignored, even though my rent is paid timeously every month. I finally decided to tender my notice only to be told that I still had 8 months remaining on my current lease and couldn't vacate the premises and if I do decide to terminate early I had to pay R60,000 due to loss of commision, even though I gave them 3 month's notice and they managed to secure a tenant 1 month before I vacated the premises. So no loss incurred. I also made it clear that I was terminating my lease as they are in breach and not maintaining the unit as agreed in the lease, despite that they proceeded to hand me over to TPN although they had ample opportunity to remedy and attend to the painting of the walls, leaky roof and other household repairs. Do date I have not received a response to my e-mails and requests sent regarding the outstanding repairs and walls and they have also not paid my deposit of R16 000, claiming that this is to be used for the repairs I reported? This was supposed to be done at the landlords cost when I initially reported the maintenance issues. I cannot stress how unethical Rawson is and they have extorted a large sum of money from me, a loyal tenant, paying rent on time every month for 40 months Will not recommend their services to anyone.
