I received my bed yesterday and had the best night’s sleep in a long time! Thank you for the excellent service. I was kept informed throughout the entire process, right up until the bed was delivered. I would highly recommend Rental Buddies to anyone looking for great service and a smooth experience.

I cancelled my contract in January 2026, I paid the penalty fees and the items were collected. End of February the debit order went off again and I've been trying to get hold of Jamie at the accounts department since last week to sort it out. The ladies answering the phones keeps on saying she will phone me back, but she never does. I was a client for a few years, but this service makes me doubt that I ever want to do business with them again

These are the company that I think ****s the most of their client, tel you something over the phone and when it get to final payments, there is extra money's to be paid. Guys you can get the same bed at any store for less then buying from this company, promise

They deducted my payment on the 5th instead of the 10th, now I must pay another debit order bounce due to their mistakes. Please ppl make sure you rather pay via eft and not debit order.

Firstly, I must say their beds are amazing quality. I loved them so much that I ended up getting beds for two other rooms in my house. Unfortunately, their accounts department is absolutely **********. On 25 September, I called to notify Rental Buddies that my bank account had changed and that the account linked to the debit order was closed. The accounts lady I spoke to advised me to send a Proof of Account for my new bank account, which I did immediately. Fast forward to October, I received a WhatsApp stating that my account was in arrears for the initial subscription amount and a “failed debit order” fee. I queried how this was possible since I had given them notice well in advance. I was then told that they cannot debit Discovery Bank accounts. Out of good faith, I paid the R150 anyway. I then set up a stop order, which has been going off timeously every month. In November, I received another WhatsApp saying my account was in arrears and that they would repossess the beds. I was shocked. I sent them proof of payment for September, October and November, and was told I still owed R150 for a failed debit order for October – for an account they had been informed multiple times was closed. I then formally disputed this with the accounts department via email and received no response at all. In December 2025, I received yet another message, but by then they were already closed for the holidays so I couldn’t even call them. Now in January 2026, I am being told I owe R300 in failed debit order fees. I am extremely tired and frustrated with the accounts department. They were notified back in September 2025 that the account they keep debiting is closed, yet they continue attempting to debit it and then charge me for their own administrative issues. They do not respond to emails, they do not resolve disputes, and instead threaten repossession. This is completely unfair and unacceptable, I’ve never missed a single payment since the start of each contract! Great products, but horrible customer service and even worse accounts department.

Firstly the beds are good quality, however they did debit my account for an additional 2 months after my contract has ended and this has been for 2 months now that i have been trying to resolve this and get my money back, they owe me a total of R 1796 which is a lot of money and they have the cheeck to tell me they do not refund, i have been in contact with numerous people in accounts, my sales agent and apparently they advised me(I have the message) that the CEO advised this is not refundable even though he will TRY to stop my debits in the meantime to make up this amount, also once again empty promises an d i never agreed to this I want a refund as this was my money taken for no reason I honestly feel they stole from me, admitted they have credit for me but WILL NOT REFUND me, this is a shame and scandal that companies are quick to threaten you and indicate you owe them but will not refunds an individual

Shout out to Sean Rademeyer from Rental Buddies. Ordered a matress and couches and had them delivered to my home faster than the speed of white light. Both products are of excellent quality. Sean is the most professional, friendly and helpful sales agent ever. If you need a bed, mattress or couches, Sean Rademeyer is your guy. I will not hesitate to make use of Rental Buddies services once again and I will refer them to anyone I know.
