REVOV repair centre highly recommended!
REVOV batteries repair centre in Roodepoort helped us to sort out our problems with our batteries with which we had months of problems to try to sort out through our installer. The installers make one believe the warranty lies with them, but it do not! Best is to contact the repair centre yourself. They are so helpful. They can log in to your batteries trough any desk and check the health of your batteries. They helped us to correct our inverter settings so it do not harm the batteries. After they did settings on our batteries and helped us to set our inverters to the correct charging settings, our system is working better than ever. They replaced our faulty batteries without any issues. I would recommend them strongly!

REVOV repair centre highly recommended!

Revov after sales service
Over the past 4 years I have built myself a bank of Revov batteries. They do serve their purpose well. One of the batteries has been given some problems lately and I sent it back to Revov as it is under warranty. The after sales service I got was outstanding and exceeded my expectations. They replaced my battery after evaluation. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with Tannith who kept me up to date on the process throughout. The technical staff by names of Carl, Gift and Sean(Shawn) also lend great service over comms and telephonically. Revov does deliver on their warranty.

Revov Batteries
I bought 2 Revov batteries with the intention of installing them later. Later proved to be more than a year later. Nothing on the box or included instructions preclude doing this. When the time came to install the batteries, they would not take charge. One of Revovs online technicians advised me to take the batteries into one of their service centers. Cape Town being the closest some 400km away, which I did. More than 2 months passed and I contacted Revov and advised the technician that had taken in my batteries them that I needed to collect them. This was on a Friday. On the following Monday, the technician contacted me to advise that some of the cells would not hold charge and would not be repaired under warranty, and to collect my batteries. I assume this is the first time they looked at my discharged batteries in the 2 months they had them. I understand that Revov has invoked their online warranty ( not included with the batteries), and have failed to reply to emails requesting clarity on which clause or closes apply to my voided warranty.

Do not buy Revov products
I bought a Revov 12 Volt 200 Ah li fe battery three years ago. The battery performed well for just over 2 years. Then both the charge and discharge ports switched off and I could not switch it back on. After updating the app on my Cell, I tried again unsuccessfully. Even the Suppliers could not get it back on. The unit was sent to the manufacturers in Cape town. After inspecting it, the technician reported as follows. “They can break the casing, balance the cells, repackage it in a new casing, and it would be good again”. I would have had to pay the cost of a new casing. This did not make any sense to me as the smart battery bms has a cell balancing feature and last time I looked the cells were well balanced. I responded that the battery was still in the guarantee period and they would have to fit the bill. They refused. I had the battery dispatched to a reputable specialist on renewables. They broke the casing, disconnected and reconnected the bms after that the battery worked 100%, but the broken casing made it unserviceable. We strongly suspect that the bms firmware/software had a bug causing the problem. Connecting and disconnecting the bms reset the battery. On these batteries (unlike most other smart devices) it is not possible to update the bms firmware or software via the bluetooth connection. Therefore the need to break the case. For this oversight now cost me around R 11 000. Interestingly, the supplier stoped stocking Revov batteries for the return rate was approximately 30% with Revov not honouring their warrantees in most cases. I would certainly not recommend any to buy Revov products.
