<p>Tonight I went to a friend's party at rhapsody's. All was fine and normal, until I decided to order a regular water with ice and lemon, my drink of choice after I've had something from the menu. This has never been an issue at any restaurant I am a paying customer and I would like lemon in my water, however this wasn't possible at rhapsody's. At first the lady said they don't have lemon, to which I replied that my girlfriend had just finished her coctail with lemon in it, but apparently the lemon is only there for garnish. Fantastic, as the average price of a meal is over R100.</p> <p>But, this was not all. When we ordered our food we perused the light lunches section and tring our luck, we ordered from it. We reckoned if we weren't allowed to, the waiter would say, which he didn't. So all was fine, but when the food came mine was correct, but the waiter just decided to bring my girlfriend something else, and said that we weren't allowed to order from the lunches after I called him out. He then apologized and called another lady, the same one with the lemon, and she began raising her voice as if I'm insulted them by insisting that they brought the wrong food etc etc. i nearly lost it and told her that in future people should say what is allowed and not before ordering, not when bringing the food to the table. So in all a terrible experience and terrible staff. I promised myself to NEVER go back. And I won't recommend to any one.</p>

i wonder if it was because of the colour of our skin or we were just undermined.<br> 15/10/2015 i walked in with my colleagues to have dinner, drinks&just enjoy the atmosphere when a white lady told us if we made the Reservations because the place was booked by theater which we did not,we then left right away to check other resturants white Couple came in as we were about to leave they just walked through, I thought to myself they probably booked and they regulars we then left.<br> On th 22/12 in the afternoon my Boyfriend & i went to the same place this time we were welcomed by Peter who told us the same story as last week & this time Peter told me how im dressed inappropriate, inappropiate is a pair of Jeans, Stilletos & a vest. I asked to see the manager as I'm also working in the hospitaliy & I know very well what customer service is ,very unfortunate he was,He then suggested that we go sit in the smoking area as we were sitting there my Boyfriend & I noticed people in their shorts & sandals wow!.We then decided to leave the place as we were very uncomfortable & annoyed. as we walked out another white man came in with shorts and Sandals and was not told a thing.Peter Killed our vibe

I ordered a dish, Mediterranean pasta, it came out undone, they had not put all the ingredients that go into the pasta.called the waiter asked what was going on,he called peter his manager,he argued with me in the middle of a full restaurant and told i will not order another dish will have that one as is!he then went to call his kitchen manager Terry who had and even worse attitude and told me he knows his kitchen,and what was served was as it was supposed to be,i then indicated to him he clearly has no knowledge of his menu,preparation method and end end product, he proceeded to scream at me again in the middle of a full restuarant and told me to either have the dish or leave the restuarant,turned his back and stormed off!i was left unattened to for the next 20min, i had to call the waiter and ask for service.Terry at the end of the evening then demanded i pay for a dish i didnt have as i sent back to the kitchen.the service was appauling!please could rapsodys make sure they train their managers on product knowledge properly and have tip top customer service atiquette!its unacceptable that managers working in a customer service environment treat customers so RUDLY for paid service

I would just like to share my experience at Rapsody's in Lynwood Bridge on the 24th of April 2015. I arrived with two of my lady friends at around 18:30.We were greeted by the front door lady who told us there were no tables available inside the restuarant and that she will check again for us around 20:00/21:00. We agreed to sit on one of the tables oustide in the meantime, although we could see that not all tables inside were occupied. The time hit 21:00 and the lady had not said anything to us , but we were observing her allocating tables to other customers.What makes it worse is that we were sitting right next to where she stands at the door and she kept walking past us to check on other tables. This kind of behaviour is disrespectful in my opinion and is unacceptable. I have been to this rapsody's before and I received outstanding service from a man name Terri, who is the reason I returned to that Rapsody's but I am very sure I will never go there again and would not advise any of my friends to go there either.

we got there at 18:45 and put in our order we waited till 19:35 and by then we had started to complain .The manager came whom told us with an attitude that do we have an idea how lost does a steak take ? the food was cold ,while we were still talking to him he left us hanging there,Thats when we refused to eat the food and to pay for it .When we decided to leave he ran off to call the securities and threatened us that if we dont take the food ,we are going to be arrested .Until the senior manager whom made sure that the securities will not bother us .He tried to convince us to go back but we were insulted badly by the Sipho guy

I am very upset that today 6 April 2015 and ordered my food then I was told there is no spinach anymore. WhAt restaurant does not have a side oreder on the menu?? I would've understood if it was at 11 at night but at 6pm that is utterly unacceptable!
