Rooftop Contractor do work for Santam (Brolink). The incorrect and unprofessional manner in which they evaluated storm damage at our property not only delayed a simple claim with four months it also resulted in many frustrations and eventually led to a full investigation conducted by the Insurer. We refused to make use of their services and will never consider doing so in future!!

Rooftop Contractor do work for Santam (Brolink). Here I am Begging again for you to come back to me. They NEVER are NEVER available, you are ALWAYS to busy to take a call, YOU NEVER reply to Any whatzapps. You are only available, when the rent is not paid on the 1st. Then you can email and phone back. You just go on Holiday, and we have to struggle with the problems. Presuming that I just went on holiday is the wrong presumption. Funny how that is what your Office said. 1. I have Paid R500 Unipin in July for Aug – You said I must NOT load it onto the old box, until the new boxes have been installed. August and September are almost past. YET NO FEEDBACK You removed yourself from the wattsapp group where you know you are supposed to install the Unipin on the box, take a photo and post on the group. PLEASE EITHER POST ON THE GROUP OR TO MYSELF URGENTLY. How can you lie about this. YOU SAID I must NOT load it onto the box. YOU will use it for Unipin. As That was originally for my Unit. You said I must wait for the new box. Then you wil give me a new pin for my new box. Colleen how do you do this? 2. You said that there will be no more unipin only a small amount for the gate. Yet you still request us to be for the Laundry (That we DON’T USE) and back Lights. That we don’t use. As the front lights are connected to our Unit. So we are already paying for that out of our own pockets. Business is carried out on paper and I never said there would be no Unipin! AGAIN – You are LYING. You said we don’t have to pay for the LAUNDRY. I also never said there will be no UNIPIN. GOD NO. As the new installation took time and I am not a meter expert, I requested all tenants to be patient until all was completed. There will be a reduced General levy which goes toward Unipin of R150.00 per unit. This will be monitored and may be reduced or increased depending on usage. This includes use of the gate and Laundry/outbuilding light. EVERYONE must contribute irrespective of whether you go into the laundry or not. I have been Patient everyday for the last 4 months. HOW COULD YOU BE SUCH A ****. Why would it make you Happy to treat someone like this. 3. Still the Electricity is not sorted out 100%, As we are all still using the same Box from the Laundry. The Main Unipin box in the the laundry is the Municipality Meter from which all the sub-meters draw power. Each unit now has a Pioneer meter. Every tenant can now buy power for their own box from the outlets provided. I requested that once purchased, send amount purchased with unit number to the wattsapp group in order for us to keep accurate records. Please do so if you have purchased any new tokens. YOU ARE NOT READING MY QUESTION 4. The Solar Geyser is Still not working as it should, like you advised. I have sent out a contractor who tested and informed me that it is working. If I need to get him out again, there will be a R450.00 call out fee for your account. Alternatively, send in writing what the problem is. Perhaps you are switching off the power to the geyser. I WILL AGAIN GET MY OWN ELECTRICIAN…. That SOLAR is NOT WORKING 5. Our gas Stove is still without Gas, as you took my old full bottle, and did not replace it. I have paid a Deposit for that gas. When I took over the contract, no one checked the gas. I bought a New one on my Cosmo Account. So that one you took, has to be replaced, as it is still on rental at Cosmo Industrial. As far as I am aware, there was a gas bottle installed outside of your unit. It is always the tenants responsibility to fill. The gas bottle had to be moved from the outside according to the installer who provides the COC . Only a 9kg gas bottle fits into your unit it had to be exchanged with Unit 3 bottle. When getting new gas, most empty Gas bottles are exchanged for full which means you never have the same bottle.. If yours works differently I am unaware of that. Solution: You need to fill or exchange the 9kg one for a full one. PLEASE do yourself a favour and phone Cosmo Industrial. You HIRE a Bottle by them. WHY WOULD you take my bottle that WAS 9kg, that still had gas in it. Colleen do you hear yourself. 6. The Plugs is Still not fixed. Which plugs are you referring to? My electrician replaced and repaired the plugs in the bedroom as requested. The Plugs in the Kitchen is still not fixed. 7. Rent has been paid every month before the 1st of the next month; however, I must beg to fix the problems. On the 1st of September you emailed me, telling me the Rent is not paid. Yet the rent was paid on the 1st of September. Rent is payable on the 1st, but you have until the 7th latest. There is still an outstanding deposit of R1750.00 which you are paying off according to our records. Do you need me to make it easier for you to understand. PLEASE FIND ATTACHED – DO YOU WANT ME TO SEND YOU ALL THE PROOF OF PAYMENTS. MY RENT HAS NEVERED BEEN PAID AFTHER THE 1st of a MONTH 8. The Gate is still broken. No one has fixed this. The gate rack was replaced and is fully functional as far as I am aware.THE GATE IS NOT FIXED. I FIXED IT ON THEUSDAY WHEN IT WNET OF THE RAILS. SOME ONE FROM THE STREET HELPED ME. Since April 2023 we have been struggling with this. You do not return my calls; you do not give me feedback. You are not my only client and that is an unfair statement. I employ staff to deal with the property portfolio as my time is limited, however, I am always willing to resolve issues as best as I can. NO ONE at your OFFICE EVER HELPS. They ALWAYS say that they do not know what the answer is. They will ask you and phone back. THEY NEVER PHONE BACK. Never ever. And YOU – You also NEVER phone back. You don’t even reply to a message. We pay our Rent every month, because we are to scared that you will cut off our electricity or water. Because on the email you also stated if this is not paid, we will have no electricity. I do not cut off electricity or water – the municipality does if not paid. YOU AND ME KNOW THAT IS NOT TRUE – You REFUSED 2 UNITS Electricity. One of those Units also made a complaint regarding this at the Gauteng Housing Tribunal. I know because she asked me for help in order to log the complaint. On the rental note, there is still an outstanding bill of R64 642.81 of which the amount of R5386.90 is to be paid off monthly. NOT ONE PAYMENT HAS BEEN MADE YET ON THE ARREARS! Please keep up with your Promises. As this is not fair anymore. Please keep your promises O My Goodness, The previous Tenant Arrears has NOTHING to do with my Contract. Me and you know that. I PAY MY RENT EVERY MONTH. But you treat us like ****. Do you want me to phone some of the previous tenants to be a witness for all this. Because I will. Just because you have more money that I, doesn’t mean I do not have rights. I have been doing my best, paying on time. Being patient. BUT YOU ARE SO UNFAIR. We don’t give you any troubles, we just want to have this sorted out. Again – At this moment the MIAN Power Box is Off – You said yesterday you will load R450 to the Box. Yet STILL NO FEEDBACK. So we are without POWER. And you are on Holiday. I still have Units left on my Unit. PLEASE SORT THIS OUT URGENTLY If you want I can send you all the emails, if you are not sure when and where I asked. 29.09.23: We have only received the municipal bill today. Yulet is working on the October statements and you will receive it today. Please note that the Unipin/levy amount of R150.00 reflects on the bill. Please follow the procedure for making Unipin and Token payments in order for us to keep accurate records and avoid misunderstandings.

<p>Rooftop contractors, situated in Wonderboom Pretoria, came to "inspect" my roof 2 weeks ago. They asked a call out fee of R550. I have e mailed them numerous times, and each time the lady, Jowannie, will ask Dolf to send me the quote. I am still waiting. So this company gives themselves out as a construction company, who can do waterproofing on roofs. They take your money, and that is it, you never receive a quote. I am sick and tired of corrupt people in South Africa. Let us all expose them. </p>

Rooftop contractors \sealed\" the roof of one of our properties. After the first rain it became evident that the sealing was not done properly resulting in damage to the interior of the property again. Have been in communication with them in order to get their work fixed, but with no joy. They are currently ignoring my emails. <br> <br> "
