Do Not Enroll At This Institution!!!!
Worst experience ever, qualification completed 2022 and to this date I haven’t received my certificate. When I go to the office I am told that I have to fetch my certificate from the Department of Education in Pretoria, they not even giving confirmation if the certificate is there or not. It’s been years and my life is stuck, I can’t even further my studies as I am unable to get my certificate from Rostec College.

Lack of education within the institution
I am a student in Rostec Vereeniging (Vaal) laying a complaint about my Lecturers and HOD never give education. I have been habing a continuosly problem in terms of receiving education. I always fight with them whilst they duck and dive, refusing to give education. The principal Mr Peter has done absolutely nothing to improve this. I, Kelebogile Matla a social auxillary student who started studying last year 2024 until now 2025 have had a run around with my HOD Thandi. Due to personal reasons, I had to transfer to Bloemfontein and continue studying in Rostec. I then realised that my file from last year had never been marked by the previous lecturer who left the institution in Dec 2024. A new lecturer was hired this year 2025 and still, my file is unmarked. This file is needed in Bloemfontein so that i continue studying. The HOD has done nothing to assist in terms of making sure that the file is marked and sent through to Bloemfontein campus. She has always been ill-treating me in terms of getting the proper education that I need. With this being said she is *********** to do her role as an HOD of the institution. Along with the Principal Mr Peter is incapable of running the institution by monitor that the correct measures are followed. My parent who I a pensioner, pays school fees every month to ensure that I receive the education that I need. Yet, these people are making my entire school life a living hell, failing to deliver what they have to deliver for me to obtain the education I need. I report this matter and ask for your assistance. I am willing to also take the matter further by also letting the MEC of higher education aware of this ill-treatment within this institution. I have a right to good education and WILL NOT not be held back by unprofessional and *********** lecturers and leaders who might at the end of the year make me repeat a course. They should know that I will fight for my rughts as a student.

A **** of a school. They registered me without my consent - with no registration fee or supporting documents of mine. I didn't even receive a proof of registration, they went as far as applying for my exam permit at the the department. I was unable to write exams with another institution because the department refused my registration due to ROSTEC! Now they are so rude and refusing to help me deregister. I am so distressed because I was supposed to write my exam but couldn't, and ROSTEC didn't even notify me that I could write at their institution. *****S!!

Sharp with their words , sold lies . They demanded money but never listened to our cries. I started demanding for my certificate they refused, please help me to get my money back .Rostec is a **** .

Certificate issues

Now they request R1000 for me to pay them so that I can get my certificate. I've done my part by paying school fees and the R1000 they want is sort of like a bribe to make my things go fast . Please help , I'm a student and they're taking advantage . I'm scared of them

I registered my brother at Rostec for matric re-write on April they told me he’s gonna write his exam on November,they phoned me each and every month reminding me about fees,on November when I asked them to send me the exam time table they told he is not registered at the department of education,I asked them to refund my money they told me stories I need my money.
