I submitted a claim with Royal Funerals on the 16th of January 2026 and handed in all the required documents on time, yet we still have not been paid. The funeral is this coming weekend we don't know what to do which is completely unacceptable. What makes this even more frustrating is that every time I call, the receptionist gives the same response: “I haven’t heard from the head office.” How is that even an explanation? Why should I suffer delays because of poor communication within your company? This was a funeral claim not a luxury or a favour and such matters are urgent and sensitive. The lack of urgency, accountability, and clear communication is deeply disappointing and unprofessional. I am hurt, angry, and honestly shocked at how this has been handled.😡😡

I submitted my claim at Katlehong office&was told the papers are clear enough i must expect an SMS, out of curiousity as no SMS is coming through i called their office they advised that the BI663 page fingeprints are not clear, how are u expecting a clear copy from a copy because the undertaker does not give original BI663. I am speechless and dont know what to do as we have to utilise the money for the funeral on Friday. Our goverment need to shut down this entity who is robbing the poor the hard earned money. I have never experienced such a bad service, it stinks🚮

Good day Royal Family, I would like to take this moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the service provided during my brother's funeral held this past Sunday. He was sent off with a dignified ceremony, and it meant the world to our family. I want to extend a special thanks to the Benoni branch. You are truly fortunate to have dedicated individuals like Patience Dhladhla and Shadi Makgatho working for your organization. Their willingness to help and go the extra mile embodies true customer satisfaction. I cannot emphasize enough how appreciative I am for the service I received from both of them. Thinking of their kindness brings tears to my eyes. Additionally, a big thank you to the drivers who came on Saturday to assist with bringing my brother for the funeral and those who provided such compassionate service to drive us to the graveside on Sunday. Your support made a difficult time much easier to bear. Once again, thank you for everything.

We are very disappointed as a family and we would like to discourage anyone who is contemplating about doing business with Royal funerals.They are *********** ****** who would say anything just to make a quick buck.They don't have integrity and don't have your best interest at heart.They took advantage of our grief by swapping an expensive casket we selected with a cheap look-alike one and thought we wouldn't notice the difference .After the burial we had a meeting with them and they acknowledged the complain and promised to compensate our family.it's been three weeks of empty promises and different stories,pillar to post ever since
