I have purchased your Painters touch+ paint. I am sorry to say that this is the poorest quality paint that I have ever used. and at R160 per tin of spray paint. Also, your 2X coverage is a myth, it covers no more than any other regular spray paint at half the price of yours, I purchased the Satin Black and the Gloss Chilli Red. I prepared the plastic surface to spray the Black firstly. I over time sprayed 2 coats. those 2 coats took more than 7 days, and was still not acceptably dry to touch, left a few more days, then I masked off an area with masking tape, so that I could spray the red on another part of the plastic. when I removed the masking tape 3 hours later, the black paint was distorted as if the tape had a reaction with the black paint. I have thus wasted R500 on a project and now I am 2 weeks behind. I find this totally unacceptable. I would like to know what you are going to do to rectify this issue. I have photos, and the original project if you wish to investigate to matter further, which I hope you do. I also have the remaining paint tins. I will be awaiting your prompt response to this matter.

Some of the products had quality issues and i sent a complaint to them discussing my findings. within a few hours i had received feedback from Russell Malcolm and was personally advised on the process they were following to correct the issue. the batch was checked and Russell has told me that they will be replacing the faulty items free of charge. Not many companies offer such good customer service and therefore i will continue to use nothing else but Rust-o-leum products!

I recently purchased a few Rustoleum products to finish a projects i was busy with. Some of the products had quality issues and i sent a complaint to them discussing my findings. within a few hours i had received feedback from Russell Malcolm and was personally advised on the process they were following to correct the issue. the batch was checked and Russell has told me that they will be replacing the faulty items free of charge. Not many companies offer such good customer service and therefore i will continue to use nothing else but Rust-o-leum products!

I just recently bought a can of Black Hi Heat Spray paint from one of their agents. The paint is clearly marked that it could withstand heat up to 350 degrees Celsius. I have applied this paint to an electrical unit that does not exceed 170 degrees Celsius as it has a built in thermostat to control the heat. I have tested the thermostat and it is in order. The problem that I have is that there is quite a lot of residue that comes off from the paint after it has been dried properly. I have heated up the item many times over a period of two weeks and every time you would find that residue comes off, more so when the surface is still hot. I have also noticed that some odour comes off when the surface is heated. You would expect that when the paint is dry, there would be no residue or odours and it would be able to handle the heat. To crown it all the paint is damn expensive +/- R140 for 250 ml. I have written to the company and their response initially was that there will be a slight residue after the coating has been done and dried. I explained to them that there is more than just a slight amount and I also questioned whether the product contained lead as the increased amount of residue after it has been heated up, gave me the idea that it could be the case. They replied that they would investigate the matter and come back to me. It has been a long while now and have had no response from them. This is not good service.

I have had issues with a specific Rustoleum product. I contacted them and within a day they had not only tested the product extensively but came back to me with some tips and techniques. Well done indeed to Lance Hodgson and team.

They booked a guest in our guest house (Le Cozmo Guesthouse) we are actually and Bed and breakfast . we only provide dinner as a special request. so the lady name Lizanne Made the booking with us for Spraymate. Then only organised dinner for the guest for one night and the next night the guest contacted us for dinner at 20:00 but Lizanna never organized dinner with us for her guest for the next day. but we went out of our way to help her with Pizza . According to our company policy we charge R250 Excluding Vat per dinner which is ordered thro us and it is mentioned in our rates in all the rooms its is printed and filed. So next day I sent the invoice for payment to Lizanne the next day. and she got furious because we charge R250 for pizza . i tried to explain to her that this is a guest house and she cant expect the rates to be same as the shops and for additional special request service we do charge extra amount. it was informed to her our dinner cost R250 the day she made the booking and she agreed .And we ordered the pizza on Guest request. but she did not hear me out she just disconnected the phone. we sent the invoice multiple times for payment and it took us exactly 2 months to get our payment released. with and email from Lizanne stating this is the last time she will use Lecozmo . For your kind information Lizanne . your guest was hungry because you did not organize dinner for her stay. This review is nothing against Spraymate as a company. but Staff like Lizanne who did not organize the basic dinner for her company guest and show the wrong attitude towards us for looking after her company guest which she failed to do by not organizing the dinner . And she made us wait 2 months for R250 Excluding VAT. After multiple emails and phone called we are just ignored. PLease we would like some one to look in to this matter . Tho we got our payment released after a struggle. its just to inform the company to look in to this matter so the company name doesn't get spoiled because of this kind of Staff. Builders warehouse gave me some terrible advice regarding rustoleum products, but rustoleum came to the rescue and replaced the products that we're wasted and destroyed by the bad advise. Sharon Bekker and Russell Malcolm took the time to listen to my complaint and questions regarding the frustration with the patients even though this wasn't they're companies mistake. These employees are really a benefit to the company, I can't wait to receive my products tomorrow and start fixing the mess.
