I purchased a RM1202 lawnmower and ****eater combo approximately 3 months ago at Builders Express Potchefstroom. These combo sets were available at Game stores, Builders Warehouses, Build It and various other stores but nowhere in Potchefstroom and Klerksdorp are replacements blades available. I purchased a blade for RM1232 which I was told was compatible with the RM1202 mower but after mowing about 4 meters of short grass it cuts out. There is hardly any grass in the grass catcher and nothing stuck in the blades. I sent an email to Ryobi with the problem but I have had no reply. Do I class this lawnmower as a disposable product.

My trusty old Ryobi CS-3635 chainsaw needed a replacement fuel line grommet. I tried, unsuccessfully, to obtain the part at various retailers in the Mossel Bay and George areas. Subsequently, a brief Google search revealed Stevens & Co (Pty) Ltd. as the sole Ryobi distributor in Southern Africa. On their website I found the email address of the Service Manager for Ryobi SA, Mr. E. Bezuidenhout. On receiving my request Mr. Bezuidenhout delegated the matter to the Operations and Repairs Manager in Cape Town, Mr. Anthony Swart. Mr Swart contacted me telephonically a few days later to confirm that a new grommet was available and that I could go ahead and organize to have it couriered to the village of Still Bay where I reside. By now I was already impressed by the professionalism and good service I'd received from Mr. Swart, but when he personally took the part to the courier company and paid for its delivery out of his own pocket...I was impressed!! Incidentally, the new grommet only cost around R60 and yes, I did repay Mr. Swart for the courier fee! I have various ageing Ryobi power tools in my workshop and having access to Anthony Swart and his team at Ryobi Service Centre will surely be very useful in the future. Thanks guys...great service

I am not happy at all, we bought a part of a grass cutter, it come without a *****, because we are staying far from Town, we didn't want to create drama about it, we used the ***** of old head because they are the same side, unfortunately it cracked. We thought we bought an original part , not knowing that is made with cheap material, the head its written even Japan, completely different from the original one. At repair center at Bloemfontein, they refuse taking it, my R700 down the drain just like that .

I bought a brush cutter at Mica lenasia signet on the of January 2025, on the 31 January 2025 the machine was already broken. The machine is written 2 year guarantee on the box and in less than a month it's broken, now they want to charge me more than half of the money I bought it for while it's still under guarantee.

I bought a Ryobi 125CC petrol lawnmower, last year the 29/09/2023. This lawnmower is excellent, but I have a problem it's seems that there is a factory problem as I cannot give there blade for this lawnmower, I was told at Game Bethlehem they don't stock it, the one sales person told me that I might have to buy another lawnmower, I first felt sick, now I realise that the lawnmower has a 2 year warranty. So I am going to return the lawnmower as it is a factory default. I await your reply. I give your company 48 hours from this review.

Visited Ryobi Cape Town this morning. Ably assisted by Jason and Deon. Went out of their way to ensure we understood how to use the product. They deserve 5 stars.
