I paid Sable Energy in full on the 13/02/26 for a 10kVA solar system, and at the time of purchase I was assured that once payment was received the system would be compiled and delivered within 3–7 working days. It has now been over a month, and only the solar panels have been delivered. The inverter, batteries and other system components are still outstanding. Over the past few weeks I have repeatedly followed up and was told that the components were ready and that the only delay was due to powder coating of the housing unit. However, I have now received further explanations about supplier backlogs and my emails requesting confirmation of shipment are no longer being answered. This delay has caused me financial loss, as I am continuing to incur high electricity costs while waiting for a system that has already been fully paid for. In addition, my installation costs have increased due to the delays. I have formally requested that the outstanding components be delivered within the agreed timeframe. If this cannot be done, I have requested a full refund + 20% interest (which I am paying to my bank-loan) so that I may purchase a system from a reputable local supplier with verified customer reviews. I received an email from them this morning, where they are using a "stalling tactic" by stating that they empathize with the inconvenience caused to me & that they shall escalate the matter as "urgent" and "update me" by the 20th of this month (March 2026) on whether the powder coating has been completed. This company operates very "dodgely"... Making promises they are in no position to keep to & lying to their customers. Whilst experiencing all of this, I did a bit of research on them online and found I am not the only customer of theirs who they've done this to. They receive payments from their customers & only then, do they begin "shopping around for components", which cause long delays and huge inconveniences. Companies like these must be made to pay customers for loss of income /finances due to their long delays, false advertising and stalling tactics I hope Sable Energy will respond promptly and resolve this matter professionally, as this experience has been extremely stressful and disappointing.
