"Good day, I hope you are well. I am the content producer at The Saturday Star. Please could you send us your contact details in regards to our Father's Day Cook-A-Long." Received from Karishma Dipa on 31 July 2020. Sent contact details as requested only to be ignored for months without any feedback or response. Shockingly poor customer service especially for a leading media company that should pride itself in it's communication skills.

I am a subscriber to the Saturday Star. It was time to renew my subscription but unfortunately because someone had cloned my card it didn't go through. They phoned my from the Star to tell me and I explained the situation. To my surprise was told they would wait and phone me the following week. Unfortunately had not received my card yet and offered to pay by EFT. Was no told no problem they would continue to wait. Well finally got my card but didn't receive a call so thought I would not get my Saturday Star so didn't even go and look for but on Sunday Morning my star was in its usual place. What a surprise! Got a call today and thanked the lady who had continuously phoned me. How is that for service! couldn't thank her enough

Just had a call at my office from a very rude lady at the Saturday Star who wants to know whether we would like to renew our subscription. I told her the lady she needs to speak to is out the office and she said unpleasantly asked when was a good time to phone to get hold of my colleague (who is my mom-in-law). She then says that she has phoned and I quote – every day for the past 2 months I told her she mustn't make up stories as she hasn't phoned every day for 2 months and that if she gives me her name I will get the correct person to call her back She told me I am very rude "receptionist" and she will call later when a less rude receptionist answers the phone. And then slammed the phone down on me I was told by my boss (also family) that she called yesterday afternoon and was asked to call back again today. Her timing today was unfortunate but what a disgusting way to behave. I hope the call was recorded as she needs to be seriously managed

<p>In March there was a special subsciption offer published by Saturday Star for 3 bottles of free wine if one subscibed for 6 months, I did so and followed up on at least 5 occasions since then to ask when the wine would be delivered. On 30 June they replied they still have no stock.! After 3 or more months!! I received a further renewal notice in August and answered with another complaint to say that I thought the March "special offer" in had been almost fraudulent as I had never received the free wine. I still have not received even a reply to this, never mind the wine!!!</p>
