I'm highly disgusted by this hotel admin i booked the accommodation with the hotel and did Electronic funds Transfer to the hotel for my hotel stay that was supposed to be on the 30 July and i cancelled due to covid restrictions done by our president and also the were war happening some parts of Durban so we couldn't travel, i cancelled on the 16July 2021. I called on the 16 before cancelation and I spoke to one of the admin lady and I was adviced to cancel yes I'll get my refund. i called the hostel and i was told to contact booking.com so that they fully refund me. I asked for Booking.com contacts I was told to look for it myself they cant help to go google for that, I did google I couldnt find any. i need to be refunded fully as the cancellation was beyond our control. I stay in JHB and we were moved to level 4. now i have issue in getting my funds back. i dont what else to do im giving them 2days to have this query resolved because i cancelled before 14days!!!
