DO NOT USE SEABROOK SOUTH AFRICA. In February 2019 I contracted them and paid in full for shipping of my vehicle from SA to New Zealand. The car was collected from Johannesburg and transported to the Seabrook warehouse in Cape Town early February. After several months of delay in shipping the vehicle from their warehouse (while they were waiting for space in a container, they told me), they lied to me, told me my car was en route to New Zealand, even provided a copy of the House Bill of Lading detailing my car as the shipment. That was on 28 August. I was even given the date of shipping and the name of the vessel. I continued to wait patiently, assuming my vehicle was at last on its way to NZ. Then I was contacted by an ex-employee of Seabrook whom I had spoken to several times while trying to expedite the shipment. She told me that the Seabrook Cape Town office was closed and my vehicle was still in the Cape Town warehouse and advised me she could arrange collection and return to Joburg - but of course at my expense. She seemed trustworthy, and acting with integrity, and we followed her advice, and received the vehicle back in Johannesburg - with added scratches and missing items from the boot, but otherwise intact. The ex-Seabrook employee even provided the name of a gentleman at a warehouse in Johannesburg where the Seabrook documentation had been sent for storage, from whom we were fortunately able to collect the original ownership document which we had provided to Seabrook eight months before. We were shocked and angry at being conned by Seabrook but relieved to have retrieved the vehicle. Seabrook themselves never contacted us, never told us the vehicle was still in their Cape Town warehouse, never answered my numerous phone calls. They still have the amount of over R32000 which was paid in early 2019 to ship the vehicle. If not for the tip-off from the ex-employee, we would never have known the vehicle was still in the warehouse. If anyone requires further information, I have numerous emails and names of employees with whom I communicated over many, many months. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

POOR SERVICE. POOR COMMUNICATION. Last correspondence from Seabrook Forward and Handling received on 19 August 2019. I have followed up on numerous occasions, with no luck. My Toyota Yaris was supposed to arrive from South Africa in New Zealand during the first week of October 2019. Nobody replies. Every time I deal with a different person. Shaheed, Josh, Keegan, Daniel ... Who is in charge? Is there a problem with the shipment? When can I expect my car to arrive in New Zealand? Do not use this company to ship your vehicle!!!

Seabrook forwarding and handling in Capetown brought in a car from the states for me but this turned out to be the biggest nightmare in my life. Lorrain Anthony with Chris were the owners at Seabrook and got the documentation wrong. Anthony and Lorrain left Seabrook to open up freightfactory and left me to deal with Chris. The car was on the verge of getting impounded and crushed with Seabrooks incompetence. Chris the owner of Seabrook swore me when I tried to find out about the car and parts missing with bad language and I eventually had to pay huge fines to customs to be in the clear. Parts went missing from the car and I could not do anything as the car was being held as ransom by Chris at Seabrook.

Seabrook brought our classic car from South Africa to UK. Multiple hidden costs when it arrived and the contents were stolen and classic badges removed. The car was wet through inside, was dented in two places and scratched. Once money received the communication was nil. Would never recommend this company.

DO NOT USE THEM! Worldwide customers have problems because they had to pay twice or giant extra charges for their cargo blocked. People and lawyers from South Africa, Emirates, United States or Europe are looking for them. There is no shame for Mr. Christian Bekkers the owner. They should have paid their debts instead of putting the customers in this position. Be aware and stay away! There are a lot of negative comments about them online from every single customer affected!

They should have paid their debts instead of putting the customers in this position. Be aware and stay away! There are a lot of negative comments about them online from every single customer affected!
