Silkon Properties - Can you please do the required repairs?
I own a property in the complex Umoya, which is based in Sunninghill. Due to lack of regular maintenance and proper management, my ground floor unit has experienced a rising damp problem, which has ultimately caused resultant damage to the inside of my unit. This problem was reported in August 2024, and to date nothing has been done to resolve the problem. Silkon Properties are just refusing to respond, which is frustrating as this problem is now becoming a health hazard. I pay my levies on time every month - how about you now do your part?

Incorrect Billing
Good Day I see that you have done corrections to my bill today after our conversation on 25 June 2024, but I am not happy with the amount credited of R245.85 and charge of R3.57 debt collection fee and my account was not in arrears. Please can you send me the calculation of my usage and Kwh used to bill me R2293.20 for month of June. May Electricity Recovered Electricity (2024-04-17 to 2024-05-17) - Previous: 62115, Current: 62662 - Usage: 547 R1285.45 Calculations Amount charged 1285.45 ÷ Usage 547 = 2.35 per Kwh June Electricity Recovered Electricity (2024-05-17 to 2024-06-18) - Previous: 62662, Current: 63299 - Usage: 637 R2293.20 Calculations Amount charged 2293.20 ÷ Usage 637 = 3.60 per Kwh As per above you increased my Kwh by 1.25 Take note of correct billing for City of Ekhurhuleni (Schedule-2-of-Electricity-Tariffs-2023-24), you increased mine by 53.19% Please can I ask that you correct my bill and no extra charges added to my bill that I don’t know before payment can be made for this month. Your urgent feedback will be highly appreciated to avoid my account going into arrears. Carolyn to the rescue!
You know when you have one of those difficult properties.. where the previous tenant has up and left and the new tenant is unhappy. The landlord has a list of to dos and the newly cut keys are missing.. one of those rental properties that makes your hair stand on end just thinking about it?? I was assisting a landlord with a rental property that seemed to have an endless supply of issues when we made the decision to bring Carolyn Coleman in to assist us. We have worked together in the past but never to this degree. Well all I can say is that she was fast, efficient, friendly and came in like a superhero, tackling each issue with speed and professionalism. She 'managed' the old tenant, arranged clean up, (even helped clean things herself), removed old furniture, found wonderful new tenants, produced meticulous inspection reports and assisted with a much smoother handover. She was a HUGE relief to us and in future, will be my GO TO agent.
