Worst experience I have ever had at a salon. I booked a hair, pedicure and manicure appointment 4 days in advance. Before booking this appointment on their business whatsapp chat, I asked for their price list. Wash, cut and blow(R400), pedicure with massage chair (R280), french tips(manicure) (R390). I confirmed prices with them thr 2nd time and booked an appointment on that same chat. First red flag upon arriving for my appointment, was that they didn't know I was coming in for a hair appointment too. After that was sorted out, they began to do my nails, and I was asked what will I be doing with my feet. I told them that what I chose was already confirmed in the booking, which was a pedi with a massage chair, paint only, for R280. I was immediately told that I was incorrect with the price and that it is R300. I told them, I have proof that pricing was confirmed at R280 and this is what i budgeted for, and this is what they needed to give me according to the CPA, and that they showede this pricelist. The manager, Tasneem? Was called and I was told she could not do anything for me. I decided to confirm the prices of the hair cut and manicure. And guess what. The prices were wayyy off there too. Hair cut was R430 and Nails was 420. I told showed her proof of the price list I was given on the chat and the confirmation of the total i will be spending. Amd she told me she could do nothing for me and that it was a human error on a girl that started a month ago. I told her that it was most definitely not my fault and to at least give me a voucher or something complimentary for the inconvenience? And she said she could do nothing for me but maybe throw in a parafin wax? To which was not done. My nails were so rushed, I was bleeding and bruised, and my hair cut was rushed due to the lady knocking off soon, and whiley hair was being cut. A lady was paintingy toe nails. I barely spent 10 minutes on the massage chair. I spent extra for, and still, i Had to pay the new prices, and not the original prices given to me. So not only did i spend more money than i budgeted, i was also hurt amd brusied in the process. I have screenshots of the chat and pictures of the bruises as proof. Please do not go there if you expect professionalism. As the lady who didy toe nails told me the same, that this sort of thing happens all the time, and even her eyes had widened when she saw my bleeding nail, and spoke to me about how uncaring the person who sent me the pricelist was and how the lady just shrugged her shoulders when told she gave the customer incorrect prices.

The owner is Reneesha Roopsigh whose employee Amanda was attempting to steal from my handbag during a massage session. Reneesha was not helpful in divulging the employee's correct name and identity number details. The manager had the sudacity to say she doesn't know the employee''s surname! Reneesha did not introduce herself to me by name nor inform me that she was the owner. Neither did she ask me my name! She had the audacity to say thst I mist not be charged even thougj we had been even half way through the session when the technician had been attempting to take my bsg of the hook from the start of the session. She pretended that she was warming her hands at the oppodite end to the water basin where she made the tap run and she went to my bag which was on the opposite end!

I had a terrible experience today, 070621 at SkinPhD, Waterfall Corner. I went in for a massage and the the******, Amanda Mlambo ( most likely not her real name), had my handbag on the floor next to her feet and it was unzipped with my purse visible. I had heard her doing something but didn’t realise initially that she was taking my bag off the door hanger. i informed her that her hands were cold and twice she had opened the tap situated near my head but then walked towards the direction of my feet! I enquired how does she warm her hands which by the way, were still cold after both ruses of warming her hands with the water, at the foot of the bed when the basin is situated at the head of the bed? She kept quiet. Someone else opened the door to the room, whilst in session. Neither of them apologised until I asked her if someone opened the door, she then apologised. When I found her movements at my feet odd during the massage, I turned around to find my bag not hanging in the place that I was asked to leave it. I asked her to leave the room immediately and she rushed to pick up my bag from the floor, at her feet, my sunglasses were lying on the floor too and my handbag unzipped! I could see my purse. She attempted to blame the intruder of dropping the bag which I must admit I did not hear my bag falling. I also demonstrated to the manager that even if the door was swung forcefully, the bag did not come off the hook. So, it’s unlikely the bag had fallen and even if it could have, with its weight, it could not fall 1m away. It would have also made a sound on impact as it was heavy and full. The owner Neer or something did not come out immediately to see me, and the manager both refused to give me Amanda's Identity number and full name so that I could lodge a criminal complaint. It seems like a rehe****d practice of the door being opened, as the reason for the dropping of the bag. the manager shows the video and states, let's see if she walks out with anything from the room! Really, the thief will hold the evidence in broad daylight knowing full well they have cameras! From the camera recording you could establish the door was opened and closed gently hence the bag could not have fallen on opening or closing. Also, the room chosen, it does seem pre-meditated by the 2 the******s and the manager as you cannot see the total view of the door, especially the complete faces but apparently there's another camera which can pick the other angle which was not shown to me. The handling of the situation was abhorrent to say the least! The owner says don’t charge the lady, really? She did not have the decency to introduce herself nor ask me my name! She stated this has not happened before, I believe the the****** wasn’t caught before! Amanda, refused initially to give me her full name, I still believe her name is false, threatened me with her uncle being a policeman! Asked me to prove that she stole anything! Arguing with me as if I was the thief! She changed her story many times. Her arrogance even though she was caught in the act! Not once did she apogise! After a while the owner had walked away from the situation! I SUGGEST FUTURE PATRONS, BE WARY IN THE LEAST. MY RECOMMENDATION IS NEVER TO USE THEM. Left more stressed than I went in!
