Review for BMW Vereeniging I recently purchased a 2024 BMW 2 Series M Sport from BMW Vereeniging, and my experience has been extremely disappointing. On the day of collection, I immediately noticed several issues: • Bad paintwork on the front bumper • Rough and poorly polished paintwork • No spare key provided What made the situation worse was the response I received from the salesperson, who had earlier assured me that the vehicle had no paintwork done. When confronted, he shifted the blame to BMW South Africa instead of taking accountability. We contacted the Dealer Principal, who instructed the used car manager to look for an alternative vehicle. The first “replacement” they showed us was in even worse condition, despite the fact that they had another better car available. After we refused delivery, they then suggested removing a bumper from another car and fitting it onto ours—an unacceptable and unprofessional solution for a dealership representing the BMW brand. After two and a half hours at the dealership—tired, hungry, and with small children who were disappointed—not once were we even offered water. The entire experience lacked transparency, customer care, and basic professionalism. For a brand with BMW’s reputation, this level of service and quality control is simply unacceptable. I hope BMW Vereeniging seriously reconsiders how they treat customers and manages vehicle quality before delivery.

i took my car in for a engine overheat and drivetrain malfunction warning that come in when i drive on the freeway and explained this to them, they insisted i pay for diagnostics and came back with a lot of things. i asked them from the long list which ones are contributing to the engine overheat and drivetrain malfunction, they mentioned them and i authorized the repairs they did extra work without seeking authorization and i refused to pay for that. I took my car and first time i hit 120 km/hr both warnings came back . i then took the car back to them they demanded i pay another diagnostics fee claiming that it might be the warning but the problem originating from a different place, where might it originating from this time the service department had no answers. The technician took my car for a test without my consent and a tire burst they said i am liable because the tire was worn, so my question was if it was worn why drive in the first place why was the inspection not done before testing it. I lost close to R10 000 because of their incompetence i would not advise anyone to trust them with their pride and joy.

i purchased a 2nd hand vehicle on the 18th of February 2025 at Sovereign BMW Vereeniging. The vehicle was inclusive of a 5-month warranty cover by the dealership ,Upon realizing issues with the car ,i requested the dealership to have a look at the car ,they have been promising to book the car in ever since . additional to that i also realized that they billed me incorrectly , i was charged an extra R10 000 ,an amount different from what was advertised ,i was then told that the stock price and the advertised price were not the same , to me this constitutes false adverting. i was further billed an R6000 described as a vehicle delivery fee ,while the car was collected by me from the dealership. i have given the dealership ample time to correct this issues but it feels like they are not willing to rectify this issues ,my patience is really running thin. i am very disappointed at BMW ,i regret the day i made this purchase.

I am beyond disappointed with the shocking level of service I received from BMW Vereeniging. There is absolutely no sense of customer care or professionalism. From the moment I brought my car in, the experience has been a nightmare. There was ZERO communication from the dealership regarding the status or progress of my vehicle. I had to constantly call and follow up myself, and most of the time my calls went unanswered. Not once was I updated or informed — I had to chase them for every single piece of information. To make matters worse, I was given a quote which I paid in full, only to be told afterwards that the parts were not even available. How is that acceptable from a brand like BMW? After paying, I was then hit with additional charges — on top of everything already agreed. The delays and confusion were only brought to light because I kept following up. No one had the decency to keep me informed or take accountability for the complete lack of service. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, especially from a premium brand. I expected professionalism, communication, and efficiency — and instead got chaos and silence. BMW Vereeniging needs to seriously review how they treat their customers. Absolutely appalling. I will not be returning.

I bought a car at BMW Vereeniging on January 21st, 2025. I asked the salesperson (Innocent Khasebe) about the condition of the car because I did not want to spend anything on it for a few months. Two weeks later, I picked up a few issues, including a noisy sunroof, noisy aircon, frog light not working, and worn brake pads and discs (this was after taking the car to BMW Bloemfontein). I reported the issues to the the salesperson, who said I should bring it in at their dealership because they can do the repairs at a cost price. I went in and they expected me to pay the full 32k quote that they gave me even after I pointed out that the car they gave me came with those issues/defects. I spoke to Christo Coetzee (preowned sales manager), who said they would assist, instead, they have been avoiding my calls since. They don't sell quality. My lawyers are busy writing to the ombudsman.

ir@bmwgroup.com Disheartening abuse of female clients who know nothing about cars,so I booked my car in due to drive train error, car cutting while driving and it getting stuck at half tank,I booked the car in I was informed I need to replace spark plugs, ignition coil and injectors, paid 50% deposit, cat got fixed and I fetched the car, upon my arrival I was informed that the car is okay and I must just fixed or replace the turbo at National Turbo Clinic, I took the car there on the same day, got the car back and the car is completely damaged, I get stuck on the side of the road, traveling with under 2s, there's a vacuum sound coming from the engine, when I complained to BMW Vereeniging, they told me that they are not liable, when I ask for a diagnosis report after my car was fixed, I am ignored, they are lying and saying that they told me about the about the turbo before they started working on the car, which is not true, they referred me to a vendor that threatened my life, swore at me,told me " I don't know who I'm dealing with",in my opinion they ***** from customers, they omit information on purpose so they refer you to their friends who then damage your car so you can go back to them, I spent R45 000.00 and in return they gave me back a car that is in a worse condition, I am writing this to warn specifically females cause I don't think they would have done this to a male,I don't think a male would have been sworn and threatened the way I was.i am hoping this finds those females who are preyed on by such poor work ethic,I know nothing will happen cause I am being ignored by BMW VEREENIGING AND NATIONAL TURBO CLINIC after they took my last R45000.00, but it's fine, I'm just hoping this brings enough awareness specific for females who cannot go against such characters and have their lives threatened,I have been serviced by Clearwater, Sandton and midland, never have I ever been treated so awful, never have I taken my car in and it comes back damaged, never have I been sent rude emails stating "what does that customer want, she could afford" ,they made that decision for me and referred me to a ***ist, dehumanizing company that kept my car for an entire month and a half, I am completely defeated but now I know that these delearships don't have a uniform approach to customer service, work ethic and pure human respect.

I bought a second hand Ford ranger from them in April this year, vehicle was basically brand new +- 28000km on the clock. After about 4 months and 3000 km the front tyres were worn completely on the inside, which according to them is normal wear and tear. I informed them that according to the consumer rights act I have a 6 month warranty period and that it was within my right to request that they replace the two front tyres. Again they said that it was normal wear and tear and not there responsibility, I asked them for proof that the vehicle went for wheel alignment before they sold it to me, but they could not or would not send me a wheel alignment report, thus I believe it was an existing problem and the vehicle was sold to me like that. At least they offered to get me new tyres through there Motus network that I would have to pay for myself, I'll give them that pathetic attempt at customer service. Further more on the day they delivered the car when we did an inspection, the original ford jack was missing and one of the center caps for the rims was missing, they replaced the jack with a cheap AutoZone jack and I am still waiting 6 months later for the center cap they promised to send me. After I posted a review on Google, they rep**** and said I should contact customer support, but they were CCD in every email from the start and never intervened to try and assist, so much for customer service. So if you buy a second hand car from them, as soon as the paperwork is signed, don't expect any after sales service from them.
