I bought a G20 M340i @BmwVereeniging in 2023 November and they did not disclose to me that it was repaired due to possible accident damage, I found out now when I’m trying to trade the car in and I can’t get book value for the car because of the report on the car. One dealership requested the repair report so that they can revise the purchase offer for me, I called BMW Vereeniging and they told me they don’t have the report, I went through the effort of finding the repair centre myself and the repair centre also can’t give me the repair report and invoice because of POPIA as the car didn’t belong to me when it was fixed. Now I’m stuck with a car that’s undervalued and is running out of motor plan and I can’t trade in for a newer car. BMW South Africa said they can’t help with the issue

Bought a used 2023 year model at BMW Vereeniging, they confirmed it was BMW certified, a month later I found out it had water damage. When I went back to complain the dealership quoted me R33k to fix it. Sales person is now avoiding my calls. I’ve been a BMW customer since 2014 and had no issues until I came across these guys. Save your self the trouble.

Review for BMW Vereeniging I recently purchased a 2024 BMW 2 Series M Sport from BMW Vereeniging, and my experience has been extremely disappointing. On the day of collection, I immediately noticed several issues: • Bad paintwork on the front bumper • Rough and poorly polished paintwork • No spare key provided What made the situation worse was the response I received from the salesperson, who had earlier assured me that the vehicle had no paintwork done. When confronted, he shifted the blame to BMW South Africa instead of taking accountability. We contacted the Dealer Principal, who instructed the used car manager to look for an alternative vehicle. The first “replacement” they showed us was in even worse condition, despite the fact that they had another better car available. After we refused delivery, they then suggested removing a bumper from another car and fitting it onto ours—an unacceptable and unprofessional solution for a dealership representing the BMW brand. After two and a half hours at the dealership—tired, hungry, and with small children who were disappointed—not once were we even offered water. The entire experience lacked transparency, customer care, and basic professionalism. For a brand with BMW’s reputation, this level of service and quality control is simply unacceptable. I hope BMW Vereeniging seriously reconsiders how they treat customers and manages vehicle quality before delivery.

i took my car in for a engine overheat and drivetrain malfunction warning that come in when i drive on the freeway and explained this to them, they insisted i pay for diagnostics and came back with a lot of things. i asked them from the long list which ones are contributing to the engine overheat and drivetrain malfunction, they mentioned them and i authorized the repairs they did extra work without seeking authorization and i refused to pay for that. I took my car and first time i hit 120 km/hr both warnings came back . i then took the car back to them they demanded i pay another diagnostics fee claiming that it might be the warning but the problem originating from a different place, where might it originating from this time the service department had no answers. The technician took my car for a test without my consent and a tire burst they said i am liable because the tire was worn, so my question was if it was worn why drive in the first place why was the inspection not done before testing it. I lost close to R10 000 because of their incompetence i would not advise anyone to trust them with their pride and joy.
