Worth It.
Thanks for a smooth transaction. I did not trust the sellers declared problems on my new house. Space Invaders did an inspection and found 3 serious defects. Seller agreed to have it repaired and I saved well over R50,000. Absolutely worth it.

Space Invaders false advertising InterNachi Membership to create false confidence in the market. "Hello Peter" employee Monique Smith involved in scam
Im confused, in the YouTube video https://youtu.be/qJHUiL2K9Zs on the left pocket theres an interNachi badge which denotes that Melvyn Young is a member, however as the head of InterNachi south Africa, we have no record of him joining or completing the exam. The use of the internachi logo os for members only and as such the act of false advertising ing must cease immediately. Monique , I dare you to take this down, you will be dragged into the lawsuit with Melvyn which is being drafted now by Mcregor Erasmus.

Failed to meet me at the appointed time after 200 km drive
I made an appointment for 2.00pm, drove 200km from Herm***** to get to the property to meet Melvyn Young as agreed, even called first thing in from the morning to confirm. I waited 1 hour. no explanation, my number is blocked, no response to emails. I do not recommend this company. what a let down

Space Invaders Home inspectors Invading my patience
Im moving from Gauteng. Guys don,t bother with Space Invaders. 2 emails, 3 missed calls and 1 WhatsApp . not even a courtesy response on the whats app which sent me a read receipt. disappointed

Help with asbestos inspection
I needed someone to inspect my home for asbestos. Phoned Space Invaders Home Inspections and they informed me it is generally not within the scope of a home inspector. They helped me to get in touch with the right people and I was sorted within a day. Thank you for the referral.

Help with asbestos inspection

Inspection done.

Inspection helped me sell my house in 3 weeks.
I've seen a couple of Space Invader's adverts in the Garden Route recently. Didn't really understand the idea of Home Inspections until I wanted to put my property up for sale. I had a couple estate agencies coming over for valuations and offers to list my property. Prices they suggested were all over the place. Each agency had a different disclosure document that I had to sign. One agency recommended a home inspection, so I called Space Invaders. Got an appointment for the next day and inspector arrived in time. I was under the impression that a Home Inspection is there to look exclusively for problems in the house before it goes up for sale. This was not the case as it was explained by the inspector. Although finding issues that can impact the value/safety of my house was the departing point, it also highlighted what was NOT wrong with my house. The real estate agent that requested the inspection, managed to be the agent that eventually (3 weeks later) sold my house, at exactly their listing price. I am convinced the inspection report contributed to the price I got for my home and was the reason it was sold only 3 weeks after listing.
