In May 2025 we purchased a Horizon Torus 5 Complete Home Gym from Sportsmans Warehouse. The assembly of the machine was outsourced to Bevtech Fitness Solutions. Unfortunately, less than 6 months later the pulley cable moved out of place, making the machine unusable. This is particularly frustrating because the machine is used by only one person, approximately three times per week, so it has not been subjected to excessive or improper use. When we reported the issue in November, photos were requested and sent. From the images it appears the issue may be related to how the machine was assembled, rather than normal wear and tear. The response we received indicated that the assembly warranty is only valid for 3 months, and that after this period they would only provide the cable, while the rest of the repair costs would need to be covered by us. This has unfortunately made us sceptical of the 3-month assembly warranty period, as it now raises concerns about whether issues that stem from the original assembly could end up requiring customers to repeatedly pay for repairs after only a few months. Despite this, we were still given a reference number, and since then there has been no follow-up, no communication, and no attempt to resolve the matter. It has now been several months without any feedback. This level of after-sales service is extremely disappointing, especially considering the cost of the equipment and the expectation that professional assembly would ensure the machine is installed correctly and safely. At this point we simply need clarity and a resolution. Either the machine must be properly inspected and repaired, or we need a clear explanation as to why this issue has not been addressed despite the reference number provided. I hope Sportsmans Warehouse and Bevtech Fitness Solutions take this matter seriously and assist in resolving the issue as soon as possible.

Bad Customer service from the Customer Care Team. It has been over 4 weeks since I reported a defective top of the range running shoe purchased online and I have been getting the same message over and over again that they will get back to me. My race is in 2 weeks time and I cant afford to buy another running shoe after I spent so much money already.

I would like to lodge a complaint regarding my experience with Sportsmans Warehouse. I am interested in purchasing a watch (Garmin Forerunner 970) that is currently available at a lower price from a competitor, but I feel compelled to buy it from Sportsmans Warehouse because of the discount I receive through my paid membership with Discovery Vitality, which I fund monthly via Discovery. When I enquired about price matching, I was informed that no price matching is offered and that the only discount available to me is through Vitality. This is frustrating because my Vitality benefit is something I personally pay for, and it feels as though the company is relying on that paid benefit to avoid matching a competitor’s lower price. Additionally, being told that I can “still get a discount through Vitality” comes across as dismissive and undermines my concern, as it ignores the fact that I am aware of how my benefit works and simply expect fair and competitive pricing.

Merchant Ref: LSWA45529918 PayJustNow Ref: Le3QNRGxb6 I purchased running shoes under the above reference and wore them only three times (I use them only on marathon race days, not for training). A tear/crack has already developed, which clearly indicates a defect. When I visited Sportsmans Warehouse, I was told I could only receive a R5,499 voucher because I paid via PayJustNow. This is unacceptable, especially since there is no suitable replacement stock available and I am now left without running shoes. The online agent, Herschel, advised me to accept the voucher (valid for 3 years) and wait for new stock. That is not a fair solution — I paid R5,499 for running shoes, not store credit. I am requesting a full refund to my original payment method or an exchange for the same/equivalent shoe.

I bought a SS English Willow cricket bat for cash in East Rand on 20 August 2025 the bat got damaged in January which I practically it was used for 3 months lodge a compliant with sportman warehouse send them the sms I got on the day I bought a cricket. I told them from thd beginning that I lost my reciept, I had a sms as a proof that was sent to me on the day I purchased the cricket. What irritates is the question i aas continously ask whaf other items i bought that day. I sent the photo of damaged cricket bat. They came back to me saying their technician can't pick up anything. They ask me to send the full photo of a cricket bat and also asked the amount I paid which if wax R1799. Then they came back to me saying they can't help cause there is no enough evidence. Surprisingly tgd cricket bat i bought for mh son in 2023 from Mr Price for R435 doesn't even have a dent . But the expensive cricket bag can't last even even 4 months. How do I gave to pay so much for poor quality product. This cricket is for a 10 year old even his personal coach was shocked. Your Arthur was so unhelpful he kept on going into circles my son has to struggle because of the poor product you sell from you shop at the high cost. I had to take it for repairs cause I could see no one was willing to take the responsibility. The cricket bat was even knocked which i wonder if it was done now . If I remember tge sale person who sold this to me his name is either Vuyolwethu/ Vuyo. I am really disappointed on Sportman warehouse .
