Bad sevice and possible scam.
I bought a solar systemin Nov 2021 to the value of R60 000.00 , and some material was short suplied. The Lithium Batteries received are second hand and not new, or reconditioned , so they claim a 10 year warranty , this is rubbish. The amount is R2300.00 outstanding Various attempts to get a refund was made but just promises and no action. The address given is Buhle Park Germiston this does not exist so more money wasted for the trip to try and collect. Cell contact is William or David at 0817292373 or 0812880207 Email info@starsolar.co.za web: https://starsolar.co.za/mesmerize/ I will never do business with them again and anybody who think they are getting a good deal must rethink and ignore them.

Do not buy solar products from Star Solar
Do not buy from the website www.starsolar.co.za. You will be scammed out of your hard earned money. They advertise all sorts of inverters, batteries and solar panels. I placed an order and paid for a Growatt Inverter and Lifepo4 battery at the beginning of November. The items were to be delivered the following day through The Courier Guy. Lots of excuses, and days later I had to do a cash send for the items to be delivered via an Uber driver. Wrong inverter, and the battery not the same as the one advertised on the website - old and damaged. I immediately contacted William, whos contact details reflect on the website. He advised it would be replaced with the correct items. He sent an Uber driver to collect the inverter. Said they will send the correct inverter. Some time later he advised no stock available and that I would be refunded. Stopped taking my calls, ignoring WhatsApp messages and to date no refund. I opened a case at SAPS, pending investigation. If you do not want to be conned out of your money, do not buy from this establishment.

Previously known as BrightSun solar, these are the biggest cons in the world. Took 15800 from me and send me a used stolen battery from cellphone towers. Stay far far away from them Website https://starsolar.co.za/
