I booked a table at Stephnie’s to celebrate my birthday, and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing. We started the evening with ****tails, which were lovely, but everything went downhill from there and the experience was nothing short of unacceptable. Two of us ordered individual seafood platters and another guest ordered a fillet. Yet somehow only one platter arrived, and the waiter handed me a clean plate as if we intended to share it. The seafood platter is small to begin with — the idea that two adults would share it is absurd. This was a clear failure to listen and pay attention. As a result, my guests ate their meals while I sat waiting for mine to be prepared. By the time my food eventually arrived, everyone else was already done. No one goes to a restaurant expecting to eat alone at their birthday dinner. Then came the worst part: the fish on my platter was undercooked. I had to send it back and ask for it to be properly cooked. When it returned, it was rubbery, overcooked, and honestly inedible. I ended up barely touching the meal. We ordered dessert afterwards, which was lovely, and they brought out a plate with a sparkle to acknowledge my birthday — a kind gesture, but sadly it did not make up for everything that had already gone wrong. The manager and waiter apologised repeatedly, and I remained polite because I refused to cause a scene and to ruin the evening even further. But let me be clear: the situation was NOT okay. What shocked me most was the complete lack of accountability or effort to make things right. No discount, no compensation, not even a small gesture to acknowledge the ruined meal and entire evening — and this was meant to be my birthday celebration. For a restaurant of this supposed calibre, this was incredibly disappointing. This experience ruined what should have been a special evening. I walked out feeling frustrated, let down, and honestly stunned that a restaurant could mishandle a birthday dinner this badly.

This restaurant is just a level above the rest. Waiters excellently trained and friendly. Treat us the client as their number 1 always and never ever from day 1 did the service went down. The food prepared to perfection from 1st to last course prepared with loving care. I can see the Chef loves food and to make you fall in love with it. The price not in every person price class but every bite worth it. The atmosphere is soft and very romantic. Special events with Wine tasting evenings like tonight just on a next level. I am looking forward to bringing my partner for Valentines evening dinner to this amazing place tonight.

<p>Beautiful setting, most unfriendly service from Prescious. Camembert starter was a misrepresentation of the price that you have to pay. Delicious chocolate and caramel cake. Will not visit again. </p>

On 29/11 I had dinner at Stephnie's. I decided to go for a good bottle of heavy red and the lamb shank with grilled veg. Before even taking a proper sip of wine - in less than 5 minutes, a cooked lamb shank was served - so much for \fine dining".<br> <br> Customers next to me (Multichoice Nigeria) also had a laugh about my predicament - full bottle of expensive wine with a microwave dinner in front of me - prepared faster than the fastest KFC meal!! - at a price! To test the system I ordered extra veg - and behold"

I made a table reservation on 27 Oct for a group of 12 people (my clients breakfast) for 5 Nov at 09h00 via your website and a note said that someone would contact me within 24 hours to confirm the reservation. Today, 03 Nov (lots of 24 hours in between) I call to confirm my reservation and Edwin/Admin tells me that you are fully booked because a company of 60 people has booked and you cannot help? Why did no one call me as said to confirm this when I made this reservation? Clearly indication of poor service by the restaurant. Imagine I had pitched and got told this - how embarrassing it would have been. Disappointing as this is where my clients usually have their breakfast for their meetings.
