Shocking harassment of the wrong individual for an outstanding R159! on an FNB account. I received threatening SMS"s and emails for a collection, despite phoning the company more than twice, and sending them an email, to inform them that I was not the company they wanted to get money back from.... R159! Where they got my contact details from I have no idea. I do not bank with FNB. If I hear from them again, I am going to report them to the NCR as this level of debt collection, neverminded the incomprehensible waste of time and money it has cost them to recover, is tantamount to harassment and should not be allowed. These attorneys need to get their paperwork in order, and stop threatening the wrong individual(s) for money that is not owed by them.

We sold our house at a deficit of R170 000,00.It was a Nedbank home loan account. I started paying off this account 15 years ago. I stopped paying last year December because the balance was now still over R100 000, 00. Yes they phone me offering discount but I tell them I cannot afford a lump sum payment. Symington and De Kok Attorneys immediately put me in a negative credit profile. After 15 years, this account can be closed and my credit profile restored.

Lack of communication and bullies. We bought the house, not a sectional title at that. Now we are told that we have to pay an amount of R16 000 of levies that we not even informed about. We signed that we are members of the homeowners association. That was never explained to us when we bought the house, we knew jerk about properties. Now when we enquire we are told to read the contract, how are supposed to read the contract we are just being shown where to sign. We were never informed about the bill when it was a R1000 now we receive a letter of demand of a R16 000 bill. When we explain that we never received the bill, a ****** old man say we are making excuses. The OTP stats clearly that we have to pay the municipality or authorised body, it doesnt say municipality and authorised body, when we raise that, we a making excuses. When we signed the OTP with the developer, we thought our business is done with the developer, our business is now with the financial institution financing us, now everytime we change personal details we must inform them of which was never explained to us. That old ****** man was even pointing me with a pen, very rude and lacks professionalism. He even asked where do I work so that he can determine the level of respect to give me. Mr Beukes you dont respect people, black people at that, you are a ****** and a bully.

This Attorneys' collections team is pathetic, they sent another person's details to me and when informed to correct the details, not only do they apologise for being a nuisance and breaching POPIA with another person's details, they still make further demands. They are probably not even going to respond to this review

Your consultant in the debt collections department Fikile Moilwa/Moiloa is an absolute horror! She is extremely rude and unprofessional. Do something about it! What a horrible person to have as an employee. A big bully ! Did not want to listen to what I wanted to say and the payment arrangement I was trying to make one would swear I was running away from the debt when I made contact with you guys to pay the account monthly, the way she behaves you’d think the money is going straight to her account . You are a horrible person FIKILE MOILWA!

I was contacted by this legal debt collection firm regarding an outstanding account, which I promptly settled and provided proof of payment. Despite confirming that the payment was made, I continue to receive emails threatening legal action via a letter of demand. I have submitted my proof of payment multiple times and requested a settlement letter, but I have received no response. My emails and calls have been ignored, and I’ve been left in the dark with no confirmation that the matter is resolved on their end. This has caused unnecessary stress and confusion. It is unacceptable for a professional firm to operate this way—harassing clients after full payment and failing to close the matter properly. They need to URGENTLY work on their communication, professionalism, and accountability especially as they are representing FNB
