So spending almost R220 on dessert at your shop in n1 city i took a brownie stick and coffee combo and then not long after sitting down i could not finish the coffee and had to leave i then asked your staff for a take away cup and they absolutely refused and said its sit down only and i asked them to show me where it says sit down only had i have known prior to placing my order that i would be held hostage to drink my entire coffee that i so rightfully paid for then i would have never ordered it i then went next door to wimpy and they happily gave me a cup free of charge.. utterly disgusting service and false adverti*****t i will surely never return and i will make sure to go public with this so that people can be aware of the hostility awaiting them at milky lane N1 city
Clay Cafe Hout Bay Missing Order and Poor Customer Service Order Date: 18 December 2024 Dear Manager, I want to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the service I received from your establishment. On 18 December 2024, I visited your cafe with my son to celebrate his birthday, accompanied by 15 other children. We painted our items, which were supposed to be ready for collection within 5 weeks. However, when I followed up at the 5-week mark, I was informed that the order was not ready. Despite numerous subsequent follow-ups between weeks 5 and 9 up until Wednesday 19th February 2025, I was consistently told that you would "get back to me." The lack of communication and updates on my order was appalling. To make matters worse, when I finally expressed my outrage and disappointment, I was informed that my order had been lost or broken. The staff claimed they were unsure of the status, stating it was either in the firing process or packaged with someone else's item. The proposed solutions were either a refund for the 1 missing piece or requiring my 6-year-old son to recreate the piece and go through the entire process again alone. Please note we live atleast 1 hour drive from this place. This experience was particularly disappointing, as the entire day was planned for my son's celebration. Collecting all 15 items from the other children, in addition to my son's missing item, would be challenging as he would be the only child getting absolutely nothing , no fault of ours. Within the two days of me escalating my frustration, the manager attempted to shift the blame onto me, suggesting: 1. We could have taken the item home with us, which is impossible. 2. I failed to write the order number underneath the item, which is incorrect, as the item was tracked from the start and appeared on my receipt and taken by the waiter Bright. 3. The waiter suggested they could quickly paint something new, which defeats the purpose of my son's initial visit. As a customer, I expect a certain level of service and accountability. The fact that you lost my item and are now placing the burden on me to bring my child back is unacceptable. I urge you to take immediate action to rectify this situation and provide a suitable solution that benefits both me and my child. Considering I have four children of similar ages, it was convenient to bring them all at once in December. Now, requiring my 6-year-old son to recreate the piece would necessitate bringing all the children back, causing further inconvenience. So i washed my K way eco puff jacket in cold water same as i do my dove down k way jacket and guess what.. the logo on the front of the eco puff part of it washed away so embrassing and shocking

Was craving some fried chicken and ended up going to crispy chicken in wetton, i did not regret it. Chicken was fresh and crispy and even the burgers was good too! Spent about R250 and we were 2 adults and 4 kids there was still food left over.. good service and good food and good prices
So me and family have been visiting Avalon springs for the past 20+ years and its been our local vacation place of choice always however over the past weekend myself and my wife visited and were excited to see the newly upgraded pools etc. To our shock we were given room 8b which had a straw roof feels like we stepped into a bungalow or a hut. The rooms walls in the corners was filled with webs and spiders, one of the pillow cases had small spots of blood and when lifting the pillow a disgusting fish moth ran out, we also found a half dead ****roach on the carpet floor and just the entire feeling was not was expected of a hotel room there was a cold draft coming either from the straw roof or windows im not even sure. Nevertheless looking forward to the pool we discovered there were no gowns in the room and requested some, coming to the pools the water was cold to luke warm i asked one employee if they can up the temperature and he gave me some story of the tap was turned open and it will get warm but that never happened, spoke to another employee and discovered that they actually are having issues with the hot water getting to all the pools and that dsnt seem like a easy fix but what makes me angry is that they dont bother to convey this to paying guests!! So me and my wife is at breakfast and see something walking on the floor and yet again a ****roach i just killed it and pushed it aside as im not one to make a spectical. Nevertheless we looked forward to getting some needed rest to our suprise inside our room it sounded like there were a group of 10 people just partying it up like we were in shared apartment. The party went on till 3am Saturday morning and again 6am and Saturday evening around 10pm it started again and we called to complain why are we hearing this people so clearly and they said they were going to send security but they never did quiet down. During the night another fish moth fell from the roof onto our bed.We left miserable and disgusted NEVER EVER TO RETURN AGAIN!!!!
So myself and my wife just booked into the Hotel for a nice relaxing weekend away to catch up on series and relax in our hotel room. Firstly the wifi is pathetic i called to reception and they blamed it on loadshedding and that it will be sorted once the power comes back on.. after the power came back on still exactly the same cannot even open youtube or netflix or anything else i did a quik speed test and it shows 0.05mb/s i have pictures to prove this i went to reception and the guy at reception went to speak to his "manager" which was hidden in a room watching some movie that she briefly paused to speak to him and then he returned to say they are going to see what they can do and she resumed her movie as we could hear. Nothing is Halaal and we were sent to the garage for pies as they do not cater Halaal. The hotel room needs a update way outdated definitely my first and last time coming here and i wont advise any of my family and friends to visit as well.
So ive been a loyal supporter of this brand since i discovered them a few years ago at a vending shop in the middle of canal walk century city. I have bought countless pairs of sunglasses and specs for myself and family members etc. However i am extremely disappointed in the way that i am being dealt with at the moment. So for the first time my sunglasses arm broke and i decided to take it to the branch in access park i have never been here before as i always just make my purchases in canal walk, nevertheless On the 29th January 2022 i took the sunglasses in and in the same time was looking to get a new frame for my specs so i booked my sunglasses in for the repair and then said i will do my specs when i collect my sunglasses as they wanted me to bring my current pair in as well. The guy that helped me was quite friendly jordan or something like that he said 7 working days. I returned on the 12th of Feb 2022 to first of all they could not find my sunglasses even with me giving the my repair slip they had to look around and scratch in draws and eventually found it exactly like i left it. The guy that helped me before was off sick and now i had 2 different guys helping me. Nevertheless i did my specs after spending almost R2000 they promised me that they will sort my sunglasses out within the same day and call me when its done they never did. I called in on the 14th feb 2022 and jordan was in again and said he will sort it out and it will be done on friday 18th feb 2022. I called today 26 feb 2022 just to get a stinking attitude telling me i am not priority and theres nothing they can do i mean this is disgusting after i am still spending my hard earned cash in this shop! The specs that cost me nearly R2k is such bad workmanship the ***** on the left arm is coming out on its own and i havent even had it for a full month! I am absolutely disgusted and disappointed in this unprofessionalism and just bad customer service i will never ever recommend this brand to any of my friends and family and i will never ever spend my money here again if this is the way they treat there customers once you come back for repairs you not priority but when you making a purchase you are top priority. Dont think about today but think about continous loyal customers coming back tomorrow, next month, next year and years to come!!
It is with great sadness and disappointment that i have to write this review about a company that i loved for so long.. So for our business and more specifically our directors we only buy Kway jackets at Cape Union Mart in Canal Walk over the years we have bought countless jackets atleast every year we purchase jackets from Kway and never had issues however 2 of the "recycled padded jackets" that we bought less than a year ago is giving us major problems specifically the blue, its discolouring and the material is so weak that its started tearing which is so disappointing.. Nevertheless so we took the jackets into Cape Union Mart in Canal Walk and to my suprise not only do they ask for a upfront fee of R250 to take the jackets in the attitude from staff and managers was unbelievably awful to think we spent thousands of rands in this store supporting the Kway brand and this is the treatment we get is unbelievable and during this pandemic and the way things are going how can you as a business chase customers away? Im shocked honestly and would really like to take this further either with Kway or Cape Union Mart but this cannot be left like this.
