Great food sidelined by terrible customer service
Usually I don't bother reviewing a place if it is bad. Out of self-respect I just opt to never visit there again unless I absolutely MUST! With Taco Zulu it was different. Friday , Oct. 30th was my first time there. The bouncers were polite and professional. I went with 3 other people and we were in costume due to attending a Halloween event prior to visiting Taco Zulu. I was quite pleased to note that one of the hosts ( a large African gentleman ) coolly informed us that their halloween event is the following day but since we are already dressed, we are welcome to use their photo booth- this was the only kind gesture I received all night from Taco Zulu staff. My waitress for the night did not greet the table and whilst I can understand that myself and my friends got there late and curfew is a concern for many. The manner in which she chose to engage with patrons is truly poor. i write this review in the hope that establishments that serve food will understand that your staff serving the food should be trained, so as not to put a damper on someone's spirits -prior to them sitting down to enjoy a meal. My suggestion is that if any customers should rock up after 9pm, how about this: "Hi Sir/ Ma'am/ Guys & Girls/ Ladies & Gents/ Sanibonani I am (insert name here) and I will be your waitress tonight *insert smile here* Due to the curfew, we wpuld like to cash up all food orders by (insert time here) so that our staff can get home safely within curfew. This way customers can determine what they will purchase and will not feel belittled or chased away. I understand that by the end of the day it is hard to maintain the same energy as the beginning but I too have been a waitress, I speak from experience when I say that someone serving with a negative attitude is a lose-lose for ALL involved! If it were not for that gentleman who offered displayed excellent customer skills, I would never have considered going there again or posting this helpful review.

Exceptional
I recently saw this website , I'm from Pretoria and ask if I could come see the products they have instore as the prices are too good to be true. But I was told it's an online based store only, I toke the chance and ordered the Fitbit versa 2 which was in perfect condition and I got the color I couldn't find else where

DISGUSTING MANAGER!!
The manager Zane Da Zilva is an absolute horrid human being. He treats his staff and clients like trash. Shouting at customers infront of other customers for complaining about food. Defames clients on social media for not paying their bills and ensuring no return customers. He has completely avoided a bill for a decoration company that took charge of their decor last year for halloween so I feel like he has no room to call anyone out. He is an absolutely disgusting manager and I am to this day baffled at how he has the position he has.

Pubic hair in my pizza
<p>Came to taco Zulu on Florida road.. ordered meal..</p> <p>30 min later pizza returns with hairs underneath the coranda leaves on my pizza..</p> <p>if I didn't lift the leafs of my pizza I wouldn't have notice..</p> <p> </p> <p>after notifying my waitress she removes the pizza and tells me to wait another 25 minutes.. and comes back to me and tells me that the manager requests to remove the piece with the hair and discount my pizza??</p> <p> </p> <p>i was like??</p> <p>are you serious??</p> <p>what question is this???</p> <p> </p> <p>i requested a brand new pizza..</p> <p> </p> <p>the manager comes to apologies and I asked him if he was the manager as he didn't address himself quiet well.. and asked him about the question he apposed to me through his waitress??</p> <p>why could he not come to me once it once it was brought to his attention..</p> <p>was this not a health issue ??</p> <p>i guess not!!!</p> <p> </p> <p>i am so upset as this is my 4th day in taco this week and I have always had great food and service but today's experience just was unexceptable as they didn't take my issue serious ..</p> <p> </p> <p>Upset customer..</p>

Never again
<p>Seated at a dirty rocky table. Drinks took more than 10min. Pizza has taken more than 25min to come out (still waiting). The other meal has been sitting on the table for more than 10min, and is cold now. Parmesan not offered with pizzas. Manager hasn't even visited the table once in the last 30min we've been here.</p> <p>Haven't even eaten, but can guarantee that I will not return to this restaurant again. Service is not up to standard.</p>

terrible service and ignored
We waited over an hour for our food. The waiter ignored our table for an hour and did not even apologise or provide a reason to keep us waiting. When the bill arrived we waited a further 20 Minutes eventually we had to go to the till to ask for the card machine. terrible experience.
