I was interested in investing into the franchise, treated me so well. Said they would take such good care. And that's where they stopped. I took a business loan, which they knew, and paid them in February 2024 for my franchise. They were supposed to find location, negotiate the lease, secure the lease, supply all furniture, equipment and stock. Train the staff and managers on the internal procedures and systems. Organize and do shop fitting, decor and a grand opening with specials, invite their loyal customers, Supply pamphlets and all we had to do, was pitch up and get given our keys and manage the store, this by 01st April 2024. Well, we paid the money, ..........managed to get a hold of one of the ex-nail technicians who had some stock, and that's all we got. They did manage to send some stock, mostly sanitizer, and cleaning or removal products. No new products and now we had a lease, and we had to lay out more money for equipment, furniture, stock and decor. We were only able to open in June, all reserves now deleted, and now i am going to lose my house. I am not the only person, there are many south African women who are in the same situation. They did contact me through and offer to take over my store for me and when they sell it at a profit willing to give me R 500 000.00 back. So after at my own expense, paid for a full franchise, had to then buy my own equipment, furniture, stock and advertising and social media, they want to step in, and ran a full store, which they have not invested in at all, and gain the benefit. They are still selling franchises and have an attitude that they are doing me a favor. I have reported this ***** to SAPS, there is a case number. I have reported to National Consumer Council as well. However, they are still allowed to trade. I have also done an email to Tammy Taylor Nail Inc, which is the original business in America. Hoping someone will do something. If i can make just 1 person aware of what happened to me, i will be very grateful. Thank you.

I usually do my own nails but decided to spoil myself for an event. Tammy Taylor was the closest and “cheaper” in comparison to Sorbet. I was utterly disgusted with the place. It was dilapidated, dingy and felt dirty. For a mall to allow that type of place to be in it beats me. Surely there should be some regulations. Besides that my nails were done by a very young girl and I hate the way they look. I just went with a plain French and the pink is a terrible colour, the nails are far too thick and the white that was painted on came off as soon as I got home already. Worst of all! They charged me R35 per nail to be painted on top of the R520 for a bad job. So I ended up paying R870 for a terrible job done. I was not informed of this which I find unprofessional. The product is bad and I don’t know how trained the employees are. Surely the owner should check up on their branches.

Hi, just want to check, the branch in Cresta, why do they not use tammy tailor products? They used planet nails. It looks NOTHING like pictures of other branches. So I paid TT pricing but got planet nails products?

We had a terrible experience at Tammy Taylor Nails Stoneridge Centre. Charity was booked but only assisted until a "regular" entered the building, and was replaced by another technician, not even any word from charity, just silence. Fun fact for the future, don't treat people as if they are worth less than your so-called "regulars". We paid, just like anyone else. Then we get to the actual work, every idea my wife has gets shot down as if your technicians are either *********** or lazy. Not willing to open Qtex bottles, just because they are unopened, why have the stock if you can't use it? You will not be seeing us ever again. Pathetic service.

I had my hair and had a paraffin pedicure done Hair I had roots only done R1100 The lady Rabia was a very nice lady but her experience of how to mix colour was horrible. She was not experienced enough how to do colour my hair came out blonde when my colour was an auburn brown I was shocked then she said don’t worry let me mix another colour and make it darker. She did that it came out like a ****** red colour which looked absolutely hideous tried to use a toner and didn’t work either. The one lady that works there too asked did u use box colour I said I never used box colour on my hair as I go to proper hair salons. My stylist immigrated so I was forced to find someone else. Both the ladies have no experience in mixing colour as she asked the other lady advice and she told her how to mix the colour which was a disaster. My previous hair colour was spoilt she ended up putting colour on the colour at the bottom too which ended up dark which was hideous. I now have ****** orange hair with darker hair at the bottom. I am so disappointed by the lack of experience in mixing colour. She quoted from R350 for roots then said R680 then said it will probably be R800 then to surprise me came to R1100. I have shoulder length hair. She should just concentrate on blow drying and cutting only she’s elderly so has a lack of experience in colour mixing. I’m just so damn disappointed I hate my hair. The parafin pedicure was R400 just a normal pedicure with a soak and scrub then something wrapped on my foot and nail polish on my toes which peeled off while I was in the salon Tammy tailor please change your nail polish it’s bad quality and peels off and u going to be getting a lot of reviews like this if you don’t step up and rectify your mistakes. I won’t be back and do not recommend it for hair colouring just do the wash and blow only or if you want to go black.

It is with great disappointment as wrote this review about Tammy Taylor Musgrave. About a week ago I went to do my nails hand and toe nails which costed me close to R1300,00 in total. 5 days later the nails were literally falling off without even lifting as if they were pasted with glue. This firstly happened on my left hand which they fixed as I thought they would do a complete new set because 2days later ones on my right hand there after starting falling off. I’m so disappointed as I’m such a loyal customer and their prices are not cheap for this to be happening!
