Daughter's birthday party - ignored as waiter worried about a tip

My daughter and two friends went on Saturday evening to celebrate her 17th birthday. No adults were at their table and the waiter ignored them most of the evening resulting in their night running over an hour late. When she paid the bill the waiter apologized for ignoring them the whole night.

I phoned Tang last night to complain. The manager did not apologize for the shocking service the young ladies received, only told me that 'we will not have done that and still be open for the past 3 years'. Sir, your waiter Jabulani did do this, and even mentioned to the young ladies that he ignored them as he 'didn't think he would get a tip'. What?

17 year olds are your future clientele, if you want to be open for the next 3 years!
