Great service ,perfect vibe
I just want to say thank you to our waiter daniel , the staff and chef . Ive not had such a great experience at a restaurant in a very long time . Service was excellent the food was fantastic, the experience was great and the waiter helped us choose food from the menu which his recommended far exceeded my expectations. So thank you tang team for sharing great values with all your staff member for making mt husband birthday experience perfect .

Worst experience on my birthday
My family and I had the worst experience at Tang yesterday. The food was so awful, from the chips to the meat not tasting fresh. We ended up taking a takeaway and going to a different restaurant, because the food was very bad and overpriced. This ruined my birthday, because I ended up not even ordering the bento box due to the disappointment. I wouldn't recommend Tang food at all. The service was good and the ambiance, but the awful food overweighs the entire experience.

Worst experience on my birthday

Tang restaurant review
Extremely disappointed with this restaurant, seats are packed so closely, restaurant is very stuffy and they have this insane rule where to cannot be seated if you are only having dessert. My party and I booked a table with the intention to get drinks and desserts worth over R1000 and we were turned away after sitting down.

Tang restaurant review

****** and ***ist restaurant that has ZERO respect for clients.
I am utterly disgusted with the way my wife was being treated upon arrival with business clients of mine on Saturday evening the 7th September 2024. The lady at the desk confronted my wife without even greeting or asking did we make a booking like any restaurant usually does. Her exact word was “we have a dress code here, its classy and non revealing” My wife was dressed accordingly, infact we came from hard rock cafe where she was treated with respect. She was dressed classy and elegant and in no way did she reveal any part of her body inappropriatly. This was utterly unacceptable and embarrassing infront of my clients. This ruined the whole evening. After my wife was told to get a jacket from somewhere (i mean what the hell) we took our seats at the table we booked and a transgender entered Tang with WAY less clothing surrounded by clients that “revealed” alot more. But this is fine?? I am actually disappointed we still decided to have dinner there and spend my money there. This is ****** and ***ist. I WILL take this matter further.

Bad experience at tang restaurant
The experience was very very very bad ************** and judgemental is very high especially the management waiters and waitresses where so good to us but we didn't like the treatment from the receptionist and bouncers as well as the manager called tony and the other on and that time we spending our own money but because we are blacks we were not treated fairly they were so mean and not fair to us...we are totally not happy at all..

Daughter's birthday party - ignored as waiter worried about a tip
My daughter and two friends went on Saturday evening to celebrate her 17th birthday. No adults were at their table and the waiter ignored them most of the evening resulting in their night running over an hour late. When she paid the bill the waiter apologized for ignoring them the whole night. I phoned Tang last night to complain. The manager did not apologize for the shocking service the young ladies received, only told me that 'we will not have done that and still be open for the past 3 years'. Sir, your waiter Jabulani did do this, and even mentioned to the young ladies that he ignored them as he 'didn't think he would get a tip'. What? 17 year olds are your future clientele, if you want to be open for the next 3 years! Shocking!
