18 June 2009 - my car was in an accident. Miway insurance sent the car to Targa panelbeaters. It was a front smash. They never replaced the windscreen washer water bottle, they never replaced the plastic car battery tray holder. to this day the windscreen water leaks out, the battery is loose, I have to tie the battery down with a cable zip tie each time it is removed. Yet they charged for these items and was paid in full. They stole the new parts.

I was at Targa to collect my vehicle and after looking at my vehicle that has been with them for repairs for the 16th January for repairs. I was expected to take my car in a disgusting condition - Interior dirty, Damaged and not repaired properly. They damaged the interior of the car and the smash and grab. This was not damaged when I brought the car in but are damaged now. Showing out these faults out to the Manager JP he was acting like it was not a big deal. But the back and fort has in meantime caused me to have problems getting to work and My employer is not happy with me missing work due to no transport. The paint job is done unprofessionally and this after we where told multiple times that my vehicle has passed quality and was checked by JP , the owner of Traga and the QC form the insurance . I would go as far as to say that no quality checks was done on my vehicle. The quality of workmanship is very bad. Also the black out sticker that they put om the door was done skew and bubbles up and rear tail light is not spaced correct. This is the worst service I had a long time with regards the insurance claims and panel beating. Having to follow up after we got promised feedback every 48 hours. I really feel this is unacceptable service.

In May 2015 I damaged by cars front bumper and I was referred to Targa Panel beaters, in Centurion, by myInsurance for some minor repairs. In October 2017 the paint started to peal off and in November I took it back to Targa. I was told by Freddie that this is not poor workmanship or poor quality and it does happen when there is a chip on the car and it is then washed with the normal type of water pressure hoses, the water will strip the paint. I told them that, if this was the case, then every car's paint should peal off, as every car do pickup minor stone chips on our road. I also told them that it is interesting that in all the years my car never did this, until they have resprayed my car. I went back to my insurance who requested that I obtain the opinion from another pane beater, which I did. As a matter of fact two other panel beaters confirmed that it looks like the primer used, were not properly dried before the painting was done., hence the reason for the paint now pealing of. I went back to my insurance who contacted Target. Targa then request me to take the car to them for another inspection and then promised feedback after one week. I contacted them every week and only after three weeks they told me that they stand by their initial view that is not poor quality or workmanship. I have now gone back to my insurance with their final response and a request to stop business with Targa Panel Beaters.

My car was stored safely and covered when not being worked on.

4. There was constant communication from Targa while my car was being repaired. I knew exactly what was happening at all times.

5. Their quote was detailed and reasonable.

Targa Panelbeaters in Centurion recently fixed up my car (via Discovery Insure) after an accident. Interactions were always friendly and professional. The car was fixed up really good and through the weeks my car was in their hands, I received regular updates, and even photo's of the car.
